Monday Evening Prayer Meetings at 'His Sanctuary'

The Monday evening prayer nights have been wonderful. It reminds me a lot of the beginning years of our ministry, as hungry hearts came to seek the Lord.
We’ve had precious times of prayer together, and God’s presence has been so real. As Jerry shares God’s Word with us, we sit on the edge of our seats taking it all in – flipping through the pages of our Bible to follow along.

Our heart’s cry has been “Souls, Lord!” That prayer is already being answered at His Sanctuary, as people are bringing their unsaved friends. Sometimes it’s a lot easier to bring them to a house where they feel welcome and comfortable. We never tire of seeing people give their hearts to Jesus Christ! If you have a friend or relative who really needs to touch the Lord, this is where I’d bring them.

It’s possible to sit in a service, week after week, and never get to know people. We were ‘spurred on’ to make sure that doesn’t happen at His Sanctuary. Each week, one person is given the opportunity to share their testimony with the group. It’s great to hear how the Lord reached each person with the gospel, and the way it changed their lives. We love getting better acquainted with one another, and look forward to seeing you there. We hope to see you there! The meeting start at 7:00pm every Monday evening.

I would love to come sometime. Pray that the Lord provides a way, as I would need to take time off from work and plan transportation there.

Look into taking the train Jerena. I will pick you up at the Tacoma station and as long as you don't mind sleeping in the grandson's bed over night you can stay here and go home the next day.

PS... He is not a bed wetter

This is a good reason for prayer.
If they can find the time to pray how much more should we?

Some of those that come to the Monday Prayer meeting have said it is the best day of their week.

All of you are invited to join us. It is a time of prayer, fellowship and learning the Word.

Father! Bless the men and women who are fighting on the frontlines of the war on terror! Bring them through safe and unharmed! Bring them to Jesus! Not just for the duration of their service but change their lives and hold them close to Your side throughout their entire lives. Guide their steps and protect them from the hidden dangers of the job they are doing. Surround them with angels and hold their hands as they weep over the people of the land where they serve. Give them hope for their future and for the future of our world. Give them a heart hot after You Lord God! Bring them to Jesus in ever bigger numbers and help them to stand in these days of testing. In the Name of Jesus! AMEN!

Amen.

KJV 1 Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 19 Quench not the Spirit. 20 Despise not prophesyings. 21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

KJV Hebrews 13:15 By him (Jesus/v12) therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. 16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

KJV James 1:21 ...Receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 ...Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

KJV Psalm 31:23 O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer. 24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.

KJV Daniel 10:12 Then (in a vision/vv5-11) said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.

KJV Matthew 7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. (Luke 11:9-10)

KJV Romans 8:26 ...We know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

We pray for these soldiers, we thank you and praise you for bringing them together to seek you in these perilous times. We ask that you put a hedge of protection around them, guide them in hearts and minds as they do thier duty to be assured of knowing danger when approaches and how it will hit. We pray your Holy Spirit acts within them to give them the thouhts and actions needed as they face daily chalenges. In Jesus Name- Amen!!
