It's me again.I just wanted to thank eveyone for their prayers. My situation is pretty much the same. The situation with my boyfriends daughter has not gotten any better, it seems to have gotten worse. I paid a visit to their house about a week ago and his daughter would not come out of her room to say hello. Whenever I call the house she puts me on hold until she finishes talking to whomever she is talking to. I have tried to talk to her she does not want to talk to me. I am really hurt by her actions It bothers me that a 13 year old could be so mean and disrespectful. I am at the point where i just want to call the relationship between he and I off. We have been together for three years and when I first met his daughter we really hit it off. I grew to love her I let her into my heart and my home and there was nothing that I would not do for her. To be treated this way is very diappointing to me. I thought I was doing the right thing when I informed her father of her attempts to go behind his back and see boys. I am just so tired of crying and having my feelings hurt. how can a person tell you they love you and then when something as petty as getting caught doing something you know you didn't have any business doing in the first place, make you change and then you hate that person. I have talked to her dad about the way I feel and he says to just give it time and for us to continue seeing one another, I should just ignore his daughter. But how do I do that and why should I do that. I have prayed about and i am trying to let go and let God deal with this battle. But it's really hard to do. Do I give up the man that I love so much because his daughter does not care fo me. or do I stay with him and hope that things will work out . I don't know what to do anymore. I am looking for some guidance. My job search is not going good, but I continue to keep my head up in that area of my life. i just ask for your prayers and suggestions.

That's teenagers for ya, I've heard (and done) much worse than that.
(Dear God, please don't let me reap from those years!

Do you do things together with her alone?
Do you spend time with just her?
Some people act like this because they are hurting inside.

Dear Father, we ask that your will be done in their lives, in your name, amen.

Yes we used to spend all our time together. We would get our nails done on Saturdays. go shopping ,to movies, she even spends the night with me. So it's not a matter of not spending time with her. We were always together. I spend more time with her than anybody. That is why I am having such a hard time because I thought we shared something really special.

Dear Heavenly,

Think about this:

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. (James 1:2-4)

Let us pray;

Father, we know that storms are always present in this earthly life that we have. However, nothing happens without your consent. You know us. When we sit, when we stand, you know us. You also know our thoughts even before we speak, because it is you who has made us. Lord, I lift up to you heavenly. Lord Jesus, please give her a loving heart, so that through her loving-kindness she may be able to reach out to her child. Father, please increase her patience by showing her that through you everything is possible. We know Lord, that it is your will that we all should become more Christ-like- in our thoughts, and in our deeds.

Christ Jesus, you said, to follow you we must carry our own cross as well. Dear Lord, please give us the graces we needed to become salts & lights of this world.

Praise you Jesus for the transformation that you are going to do in the lives of Heavenly and her family. AMEN!
