Derene and I and our personal friend and intercessor,
Lisa Cook will leave Thursday morning for Nigeria
for 10 days!

ELIJAH LIST NIGERIA, AFRICA EVENT
---- "AFRICA 2001"
-- REMINDER AND REQUEST FOR PRAYER

To our ELIJAH LIST friends,

Some of you may have friends in Africa that can yet
attend this conference in Port Harcourt, Nigeria
called, "AFRICA 2001!"

(I am including some information on this event
in the event you forward this to your friends.
10-15,000 leaders from throughout Africa and
even other continents are expected)

As one of the sponsoring organizations, and speakers--
we are wanting to help "sponsor" Africa 2001 with PRAYER
and by yet getting the word out to some who can still attend.

A REQUEST FOR YOUR INTERCESSORS:

Derene and I ask that you would also cover us personally
--beginning as SOON as you read this. The overwhelmingness
of preparing for a trip like this is amazing. Please also
pray for our health--both immediately and into the entire
trip or as you feel led and as we come into your thoughts.

We know that without faithful intercessors such as
many of you, this mission would be just an expensive
trip.

THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts,

In Christ,

Steve and Derene Shultz

AFRICA 2001

(5th International Ministers/Christian Leaders Prayer &
Leadership Conference)

Purpose: to raise competent workers who will build on
the Apostolic and Prophetic Foundation

SUN. 7TH - FRI. 12TH JANUARY 2001

AFRICA 2001,

Calvary greetings!

As a careful observer of the prophetic times and seasons of God, you
would have noticed the new divine and global focus on Africa. The
numerous fierce political and spiritual battles fought within this
continent are not unconnected to satanic foresight and desperate
aggressive efforts to incapacitate her and make it impossible for her
to play her role in this season. But the kingdom of darkness can only
go as far as God allows it. Africa's time of recovery and leadership
has arrived. God spoke to Habakkuk "For the vision is yet for an
appointed time though it tarries, wait for it, because it will surely
come " (Habakkuk 2:3). Now it has come! We still have men like
Daniel of old who can read and interpret divine handwriting, who
understand prophetic periods and divine seasons. They shall be coming
from all over the world to help Africa understand her role at this
time at Africa 2001 and give her the mandate to carry out that role.

WHERE ARE WE IN GOD'S CALENDAR?

If we do not understand where we are in God's calendar, the role we
are supposed to play, how to get about it, we would be very busy doing
what may not be very relevant to what the Lord wants from us now.

Africa 2001 is a prayer time schedule for Africa to excel. You have a
place in what God has to do in this season, in this continent and
subsequently in the entire world. Come and discover it so you can run
with certainty. The Ministers Prayer Network is a global network of
men and women who serve God in leadership positions, and seek for the
transformation of wherever they come from through prayer, the word of
God, and exemplary godly leadership. They are coming to Nigeria for
Africa.

HE WEPT OVER THE CITY

"Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it, saying, "if
you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that
make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes because
you did not know the time of your visitation" (Luke 19:41-42).

God will not weep over Africa in our day, and we shall not miss our
time of visitation in Jesus' name. Until January 7, remain strong at
your prayer post.

His and yours,
