As you know people are being affected in Srilanka daily because of the war. Please read the comments of some of people in Srilanka who are caught in this war:
“I have been running from place to place for the last four months to escape shelling and Kfir attacks. The international community should do something to save our lives," said an internally displaced woman told in Vaharai Saturday.
“I am from Senaiyur in Trincomalee district and due to the heavy shelling and aerial attacks I first fled to Ilakkanthai and then to Mugaththuwaram. Later, we were compelled to move to Verugal from where moved to Vaharai unable to stand the artillery attacks and Kfir jet bombings.
“We face severe shortage of basic essentials. It is very difficult to obtain enough rice, good vegetables and even salt for rice”.
“Kfir jets bombed Verugal Temple and destroyed the water sanitation system built by UN agency and thus depriving the people drinking water facility. The people of the area are now compelled to drink the salinated water once again," another IDP said.
“Another internally displaced woman, Kannappa Sivapakkiyam explained her difficult life: “My hearing ability has been severely impaired due to the continuing artillery and shell attacks. I am scared very much. I have meager food and water. I was staying at Palchenai Refugee camp and then fled towards Vaharai hospital to escape shelling. A young boy helped me to come here, as I am unfamiliar to this area. The doctor at Vaharai hospital helped me a lot”.
“Please stop the shelling at all costs. I cannot bear this any more. I was wishing that the New Year will solve our problems and bring us prosperity. I have been displaced several times since 1983 and I cannot move anymore.”
Another mother, Mrs. Rasa said: “We were running away to escape from the falling shells and bombs. We lie on the ground each time a shell fell. Even though we managed to reach the school building, the shells continued to fall, killing and injuring many people.
My deepest desire is to see God's angels bring forth deliverance to the nation of Srilanka where people from different community backgrounds can live together in peace. Enemy's plan is to destroy the whole world before the coming of the Lord by making people fight against each other. Please seek God's anointing to pray for Srilanka.
Please pray that the international community will pay attention to what is going on in Srilanka and help to bring peace in Jesus name.

i pray, believe and agree with you mark1124 that the lord jesus would intervene mightily with his compassionate mercy for these precious people in shrilanka.
may the blood of jesus cover and protect them and may the lord meet their need but most of all may the assignment of the enemy be cancelled and all war would cease! may the peace and presence of the lord predominate and take over the evil that is happening here.
jesus we call upon your name to do battle in the heavenlies and confuse and cease the stradegy of the evil one and may the holy angels take over and the evil one be stopped.
we give you praise father for you are able to watch over and protect these innocent people that you so love but even moreso, you can cease the war and the reasoning for it. the battle is not theirs lord, the battle belongs to the lord!
we use your weapons father of prayer and your word so you will move in this horrific situation and these poor frightened people can have life, rest and peace.

Lord God, please intervene in Srilanka. Let The Spirit Of The Sovereign God anoint many to pray for this war torn nation. We know not how to pray, so let the Spirit pray for us. I ask that He is praying right now, as I just pray in tongues....
