Marriage in Trouble

I wrote on the breakthrough board but I feel I should probably post here as well.

My husband and I have a blended family. Each of us have 3 children ages range from 10 -16. Over the past year there has become a wall that I can't explain that seems to be pitting me and my children against him and his children. They don't get along...this is more than typical sibling bickering. The tension, arguements, accusations have gotten to a point where my husband feels it is best if me and my children move out. His children do not even want to come to the house (we have them every other week) if we are there. He says he is concerned for everyones happiness and feels it will only be accomplished with a split.

He doesn't understand that by splitting up we are weakening the union and that we need to stand together and fight for our family. I know God hates divorce and we need to work on this.

Although we are in counseling, that's not a quick fix and as he is not seeing instant results he is not changing his mind.

Please pray for the restoration of our marriage and the relationships with with children. I can't stand this hurting that is taking place.

Yours in Christ.
Melissa

Father, Your love that overcometh all is needed in this blended family.

Let it drench the heart of each and every member of this family.

Fill these children, Melissa and her husband with Your love and in turn let this love flow from from each one of them to the other. Let it heal wounds and past heartaches.

I pray that Your perfect love will bind up the cracks in the marriage as well. Transform this marriage and re-establish it in Your love.

In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen
