Husband left. Is This Gods Will?

Please pray for Gods will to be done. I only want my husband back as a man of God, because he is abusive, moody & mean to me & the kids. I could see God working, but my husband resisted the fight with the devil and allowed him to ruin any hope we had. He was almost ready to be baptized, you see, and I'm certain the testimony would have been so very glorious to God. We have gone through some very damaging and painful moments over the past ten years, and I can't help but believe God wants me to have peace. I do love my husband, and I pray he doesn't turn his back on God with or without me. Please ask God to soften his heart, and give us both direction, guidance and forgiveness.
May God richly bless you for taking the time to care

But had he become saved, as in put faith in Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior....or was he just getting baptised? Baptism without repenting to Jesus for sins will not save him. I am praying that he comes to repentance in Jesus through the conviciton of The Holy Spirit.
As far as him leaving, it says in Romans that if the unbelieving partner wants to go, let him go, we are called to live at peace in such situations. I believe the letting him go doesn't just mean physically let him walk away, it means let him go EMOTIONALLY. That is the only way you can heal and have the peace it mentions here. God doesn't want you continually hoping on something that may not be....not that He can't save your husband and bring him back to You....but God works in ways we can't know or understand, all for HIS glory. God can bring beauty from ashes, no matter how this goes. Our number one focus in prayer needs to be your husband's eternal salvation. Whatever else happens, that is the main concern, that is GOD'S main concern.
My prayers are with you for his salvation.

DEAR SISTER IN CHRIST - I MUST AGREE WITH MY SISTER JERIROSE. As far as him leaving, it says in Romans that if the unbelieving partner wants to go, let him go, we are called to live at peace in such situations. I believe the letting him go doesn't just mean physically let him walk away, it means let him go EMOTIONALLY.
FATHER GOD - ANOINT MY DEAR SISTER'S FOOT STEPS TO GO IN THE DIRECTION YOU WANT HER TO GO. ANOINT HER SURROUNDINGS WITH THOSE OF A PURE HEART AND A PURE MIND DEAR LORD.
