Marital Problems

Our married life is being put to a test right now. My husband left the house with a heavy heart and we were never given the chance to talk things over. He just sent word that we will be better off this way and to just remain friends for the sake of our daughter. It pains me really but there is nothing I can do. But I still believe that in everything, God has a reason and a purpose. At this point I am really just holding on to Jesus. Please pray for strength for both of so that we may be able to go through this struggle, for the lines of communication to be opened between us, for my husband to be guided by the Holy Spirit so that he be able to see things rightly and lastly please pray that we finally see light at the end of the tunnel.

Lord God, I pray that You would cause this couple to get their priorities right, that is may they put You first and each other second. I pray they will love the Lord their God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength and love their neighbor (each other) as themselves. Let them focus on loving You, focus on putting You first, so that everything else in their lives will fall into place. I ask and pray that each of them as individuals will come into a deep, loving relationship with You. I ask that they will focus on what's truly important and right. Bring them to a place in their lives where nothing matters but loving You, serving You and honoring You. Let them put aside any selfish notions and serve each other as an extention of service to You. Let them love each other as You flow them and fill them with Your love. I ask and pray, in Jesus Name, amen.

Break the hearts of this husband Lord, open his eyes and let Your Spirit guide him in matters concerning his marriage. Do the same to his wife bacause it takes two to make a marriage.
Cleanse them and fill them with Your love and wisdom.
Heal their mouths and let only loving and edifying words flow therefrom.
Give both of them a forgiving heart and wisdom and readiness to thrash-out issues that are tearing the marriage apart.
Your love is the only medicine that can bring them together. Father, reunite this couple by the power in Your love.
Let this love re-establish, strengthen and seal their marriage in the Name of Jesus. Amen
