A Word of Encouragement To The Church
February 5th, 2007
For many Believers it has been a challenging month to say the least. Maybe it’s been several months for some of you…but nonetheless there has been quite the resistance in the spirit realm for many.
I just wanted to personally touch base with many of you who may be going through some of these times and encourage you that you are right on the brink of your breakthrough, you are on the edge of your miracle so don’t give up!!!
I want to remind you that God didn’t bring you this far to fail. The only way you can fail is if you quit. He promises you that He will make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. (Isaiah 43:19b) Where there appears to be no way out, where there appears to be famine, where there is barrenness, God has plans of provision for whatever it is that you may need.
Isaiah 43:19b “I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
What you see with your eyes around you is only temporary. It may appear permanent, but the enemy is a liar. God is building you a road and building you a way out of every road block the enemy has put in your path. God is springing forth not just “a” river, but RIVER(S). God has already prepared multiple ways of provision to meet your need by His riches in glory.
Isaiah 43:18 “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old, BEHOLD, I will do a NEW thing, NOW it shall spring forth…”
My friends, do not let what you have experienced in the past dictate your present and future expectation. Do not let what you experienced last month, last week or even yesterday rule over your today expectation of what God has for you. Do not expect what has happened in the past to happen today. NOW is the time of your deliverance, NOW is the time of launching, NOW is the time of moving forward, do not pull back, but this one thing you need to keep doing is move FORWARD in God, and determine to know nothing but what the WORD says about you!!! What does the word say about you?
The Word says you are an overcomer:
John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

Jesus makes it clear that you WILL experience tribulation, but through faith in Him, you have the ability to walk through any situation, any circumstance, any dart the devil has thrown your way in peace because you have the victory. It’s called the walk of faith. It’s called fighting the good fight of faith. Jesus has already overcome the world for us. Glory! You have the Overcomer living inside you!
1 John 5:4-5 “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?”

You, Believer, you O Church are born of God! You are not to be “overcome” by your circumstance, but you are to be the one who DOES the overcoming! Do not allow “feelings” to overcome and overtake you. You rule and reign over your feelings. Feelings are deceptive. Some of you feel like you are slipping into a place of “no return” – that is not the truth! You need to begin to praise God, because you are in the position for a miracle! You are in a position to see the mighty hand of God move in your life like you have never seen Him move before. When you overcome something its not just “surviving” or “just getting by” – to “overcome” meants to literally take possession/conquer of that thing to the point it is subject to you In layman’s terms, “you kick its butt!” (I hope I didn’t just lose anyone right there) When a football player tackles his opponent he “overcomes” that opponent to the point where the opponent is pinned to the ground. Whatever is opposing you is about to be overcome by your faith, and pinned to the ground and when that thing is pinned to the ground it’s UNDER YOUR FEET! Glory to God! Right where that thing belonged from the beginning, under your feet! For God has given you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions (Lk 10:19), and trampling is keeping all those things under your feet!
Let me also remind you Church the Word says you are the strong! You, Believer, you O Church are the stronger man, you are not the weak man. You are infused strength, authority and power with Christ IN you the expectation of glory.
Luke 11:20-22 But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has overtaken you. 21 When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. 22 But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils.
(The New Testiment In Basic English Trans)
Through Christ you are the “stronger” man! Many have taught this verse incorrectly, as if we are the weaker vessel. If that were true then Jesus wouldn’t of said in verse 20 that the Kingdom of God has OVERTAKEN you.” The Kingdom of God is the stronger man, we are the Church, we are ONE MAN, ONE BRIDE, WE ARE THE STRONGER VESSEL, and we are the overcomers, we are the ones called to overcome whatever the enemy might throw our way, and not are we only to overthrow, and overcome but to take our enemies spoils and distribute them!
21 When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace..
You want to know why you are facing so much resistance right now Church? Because you are getting a revelation of WHO you are in Christ and what belongs to you, and the strong man (the enemy) is not in peace about his goods anymore! He knows that you can and will take his goods away from him, take away his treasures and distribute them into the Kingdom of God for heavens purposes!
Isa 45:3 I will give you the treasures of darkness
And hidden riches of secret places,
That you may know that I, the LORD,
Who call you by your name,
Am the God of Israel.

Church, rejoice! For God has given you the victory, He has given you the land, He has given you all authority and power for this time. No matter what is surrounding you in the natural, no matter what the enemy has thrown at you, it is temporary, stand strong, hold fast to your confession, you are on the brink of your miracle, you are on the brink of your breakthrough!! His promise to you, He will make that road in the wilderness and those rivers in the desert. Keep your eyes on Him, keep your eyes on what the Word has promised you, that is the Truth. Don’t let yesterdays disappointments or past experiences dictate your present and future expectation of the manifestation of the mighty hand of God! Glory! Be of courage, you Church who are born of God have overcome the world!

KJV 1 Corinthians 15:57 ...Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
