I love him but...

I have been married for twenty one years, to a man who was at first physically abusive and then later became mentally and verbally abusive.
Recently I found that he has been seeing someone for over a year now. We are currently going through a divorce. I have very mixed emotions I love him, but then on the other hand I am ok with the fact that we are not together anymore. He is a non -believer, I am partly angry at the fact he is getting away with all that he has done.
I know this sounds horrible, But i am so hurt and angry.

Father in the name of Jesus help my dear sister forget those things which are behind her and to press towards the future. You word says that you have a plan for her a plan to prosper her. Father help her to lay ahold of what you have for her. Father show her your grace and the power of forgiving. I know how hard it is to forgive. I also understand how much sometimes we won't to repay those who hurt us with an equal dose of hurt. I praise you because you are not like man. You forgive us time and time again. No matter what. You are there to forgive. Heal her broken heart Lord. Allow her to be able to sing your praises like the great psalmist did even in his time of hurt. I thank you now for it. AMEN

Lord, I pray in agreement with Lynn7 and ask that you help our sister, so that the root of bitterness will not take place in her heart, in Jesus name. amen

Lord we come to you today asking that you come into this marriage. Lord we believe that you are the great restorer. You alone God can restore this marriage, you can revive it from the dead. We pray that her husband will be convicted of his sins both past and present. We pray that the holy spirit will consume him and that he will not rest until he starts living a Godly life. We pray for this wife Lord that she will not have to endure such hardships. We believe Lord that this sort of marriage is NOT of you but we DO believe that you can change any situation if we ask and believe.

Father God, when we think all hope is lost, show us that Your mercy will shine brighter and you did not bear the horrors of the cross, just to let us suffer with broken hearts and homes. You don't want this marriage restored as it was before, rather RENEWED to a greater height, a deeper understanding, and unquenchable love. With the power of Your Holy Spirit give us Divine intervention in the Blessed name of Jesus, to strengthen it today and every day. Amen
