I messed up

I am out of sinc with God. I feel empty and far away. I'm a young marrried woman with issues. I went over and visited an old boyfried (i took my bestfriend along with me) we stayed about 40 minutes too long in a sinful environment. nothing happened other than a hug. Now I feel dirty and ackward I hate this feeling. But I can't seem to forget him. I prayed and asked God to forgive me for going over and to remove him from my spirit. I remember when we broke up and I later got married he showed up at my job and stood right behind me and said into my ear "I'm the love of your life"! I remember I shook because it was so powerful. Every since I have been thinking of him. I love my husband and God I want us to work but this is some other hold.
OH why did I go over??
When I prayed about it all last night I envisioned a snake's head in my mouth??????????????????????? and then I could see someone dancing very seductively (belly dancing ) why would I see this and why am I still thinking this way? I know God and I know right from wrong and I was just flat out wrong I am sorry! I have sinned by going in the presense of my ungodly ex.

I am fasting and have been praying but I feel silent please someone pray for me.

and should have been elsewhere
Show her a good church home in her area
and let her become involved.
Jesus help her to focus on you
fleeing from rather than to temptation

Keep praying and rebuking the enemie. God will take the desire from you.

I had this happen to me. I opened my heart up to someone and the next thing I knew his spirit had come over me.

I kept praying, struggling, desiring, repenting, praying, wanting him, praying along with God sending me messages in his way that this man was not for me and it was a set up from the enemie. Like Sampson and delilah.

God delivering me, but still being tempted.

The enemie will bring people into our lives to destroy us and take us away from God and what he wants for us, in any kind of way that he can.

I kept having thoughts and desires for this man (some times we can pick up other spirits such as lust just buy conversating with them, this can also show us somethings in ourselves that need to be removed) , the other night I thought about him, and at that very moment I heard Tyra banks speaking to women who had cosmetic surgery in different countries for discount, and how they had ended up mamed for life.

Anyway, I was tuning in and out to what she was saying because I had this man on my mind. The next thing you know I heard her say... Have you ever had this feeling inside of you that something is not right. She said.... It was kind of like dating a man, but you know something inside of you does not feel right, an intuition, but some don't listen and five years down the road after being in relations with this man you wish that you would have.

I knew that God was delivering me a message through her. I dont know about Tyra Banks walk with God, and I do know that Psalms 1, tell us not to counsel with the ungodly, but I do know that God works in mysterious ways, as he did with the talking donkey.

So I took his advice, because he knows each and everyone of our hearts. he knows yours, your husbands, your ex. and He knows when the enemie is trying to steal, kill and destroy our lives and tempt us.

The good thing about this is God WILL make away out of every temptation, it is up to us to except it.

Anyway, as the seconds, minutes, days, weeks have passed, I see that I no longer desire this man or really think about him the way that I used to. Actually I am really beginning to see what he is like and I really do not like what I see.

This is certainly one of the devil's subtle traps. Now that the Lord has opened your eyes to see the deception, refuse to fall into anyf orm of temptation, however innocent it may appear.

You are married. The affair with your ex-boy friend is history. You have no business going to see him with or without your friend.

Dear Lord may Your Holy Spirit leading direct Merciful1 into the path that she should go. Shape her character even if it means some struggle.

Let Your Holy Spirit ignite in her the passion for holiness and the need to live within the confines of God's Word. Amen

Father, I thank you that you are a God of another chance. I lift up my sister and say, cleanse her, make her holy again. Do not let the darkness over take her. Does she not know she is a child of the Most High God, and nothing is impossible with Him? Refresh her. Holy Spirit, I ask that you comfort her. I bind and rebuke the devil. And Lord, I ask that the next time she in comfronted with her ex, that all she can talk about is You. And your goodness. And that she would be completly in love with YOU and her husband. Do what you need to do in the name of Jesus. Amen.

This is a spirit of lust. You do need to bind him through the blood of Jesus Christ and the power in His Name. Do it every time this comes at you. But the best way to defeat the devil is fall deeply in love with God. Love the Lord Your Gode, with all Your heart, soul, mind and strength and love your neighbor (husband most of all!) as yourself. All you feel for this guy is lust, so RUN! Run into the arms of God and your husband. You need to focus on your relationship with God. The times that I get lax and do what I shouldn't are the times I am not seeking and pursuing God.

In order to keep your thoguhts on God and Godly principles, you need to be careful what you watch, read & listen to. Make sure it is The Word most of all. Then, make sure your entertainment choices uphold fidelity to marriage. You need to reinforce The Truth in your life every way you can.


If this spirit has such a strong hold on you, you are not submitted enough to The Holy Spirit. With this thing hassling you, you need to be asking The Holy Spirit to fill you continually. Remember that The Holy Spirit is ALL of God's attributes in ONE Spirit, whereas the spirits (demons) working with the devil have individual attributes. This spiirt of lust can in NO WAY stand up to all the power resident in The Holy Spirit. When we aren't doing the things that honor God, we are not letting The Spirit control us enough. The point is: if you are a Christian, you have The Holy Spirit available to help you. You do not have to give into the spirit of lust. Ask The Holy Spirit to fill you over and over and as much as needed.

It has been my experience that when I start out each day asking God to fill with me with His Spirit fill me, and continue to ask this throughout the day, that I find myself responding in Godly ways in situations. I usually try to release The Holy Spirit over my family and others I am praying for every 24 hours.

Dear Lord, relsease Your Holy Spirit into and over Merciful1's life. I pray she finds in this the power to defeat the spirit of lust. I plead the blood over her life, as well, that this spirit is defeated. In Your Name, Jesus, we declare her freedom from the spirit of lust. Continue to release Your Holy Spirit into and over her life every 24 hours. I pray that she will be continually filled with Your Spirit. Also, Lord, teach her to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, with all her armor on, doing all she can to STAND. Father, I pray for complete and total victory. Show Merciful1 that she CAN win ove this! Show her that she can do all things through Christ Who strengthenes her. I ask and pray, in Jesus Name, amen.
