I am a born again Christian who has repeatedly asked for Jesus to save me. I am saved. I have had doubts over the years. I have symptoms of obsessive compulsive disorder, but I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I have repeatedly asked for the assurance of my salvation and sometimes I have wondered if I am truly saved or not. I am afraid for my soul and I don't know what to do. What does the Bible say about my problems?
I am also praying for the salvation of my brother and my relatives. I am so afraid that I will never truly know. I am afraid of what will happen on judgement day. I am afraid that my fate will be in the lake of fire because I have prayed numerous times. I am not sure about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I am not sure if God is trying to tell me something, the devil is deceiving me, or if I have an illness. I am afraid. I don't know what to do. I feel so alone.

This has been declare a year of open doors. Open doors for spiritual as well as all manner of blessings.
So go through the doors that the Lord has laid open before you with great faith. Believe that God has heard all the prayer request you have placed before Him.
Father I am praying that Your servant will stay rooted in the Word wherein the assurance for salvation can be found.
I pray also for her brothers and relatives. May Your labourers in the field will reach and touch them with Your Word.
Soften their hearts, let the scales that blind them fall offfrom their eyes that they may respond to You calling and be saved.
In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen

It is all about CHOICE.
You say you have chosen God.
Well, then you are in.
God had chosen you before the foundation of the earth.
One of the gifts of God is a sound mind.
You will have to choose to believe, every day, like the rest of us do.
You don't get proof. Faith doesn't demand proof.
It is your job, for your own benefit, to stay in the Bible until your faith is strong.
It is exercising muscles. No one can exercise for you. You have to exercise for yourself.
Open the Word and ask God to teach you and to give you wisdom and understanding.
If you choose not to, that is your decision.
If you get in the Word you will discover that all those fears are non-issues.
It is all about choice.
