Pride precedes a fall. Why? Because it deceives. Pride prevents us from admitting to ourselves and the Holy Spirit that there is a problem. We fail to ask for deliverance from what torments us and others, ultimately leading to to our destruction.

Whatever you sow, you shall also reap. The way you treat others and judge them, that same standard will be used against you come judgement day. Bridle your tongue and show mercy, that you may also have mercy shown to you one day!

The Bible is the best measuring rod that we can use to evaluate our lives. It is about life and is like a mirror to our souls.
Lord, please give me a teachable spirit and help us all to stay within the confines of Your Holy Word.
And when we stray from hearth and home loving Saviour, take our hands and bring us back to Your path and to Your light.
