I would like for you to pray for Jody, a "mover" and a "shaker" if there ever was one. The Lord has taken this young lady, and has motivated her to put some very much needed drive, focus, and life into our homeless ministries. She is taking a bigger stand now, and headed to solicit donations so we may step up our ministries. Last night, our team had dinner, and she demonstrated a plan of action, with a drive, and a zeal that can only come from the Lord. It is such a drive that we, as Christians, need to adopt it. Seeing her witness, tell her testimony, and just love those who need loving, will almost bring one to tears. Anyway, after our meeting last night, she went back to her home, and the devil tried to bring up all sort of reasons why she can not be a part of helping with a big ministry. Please pray for encouragement for her, for strength, for protection. Shall we also pray for her four children: Joanna, Jeffrey, Michael, Kaylin. Pray that when the right age comes, salvation for each child will come. Jeffrey is handicapped, please pray for grace, and healing, if it be His will. Pray that even there could be restoration between Jody and the children when the court date comes in three months. Also, please pray for a miracle..for Jody to be able to stop smoking. We rejoice that she has been able to leave the drugs, alcohol that once ruled her life, and that she has now been safe, secure, saved, and drug/alcohol free for 2/3 years.
