Hello All,
Recently God has led me to a point in my life where I feel it is time for us to start a family. God has moved my life greatly in the last few months but it has not been without obstacles. I know He is testing me & my faith and I continue to pray for his guidance. Since God has led my life in a new direction I have realized that in order to fullfill HIS path for my life/our life, we need to obtain a home equity loan. We have run into road blocks during the process and I KNOW that this is the Devil trying once again to get me to turn my back on God.
We will know very soon the status of our loan, PLEASE pray with me/us that we will be blessed with the amount of money we need. I am not materialistic at all and this is the first time in MANY MANY years that I have needed a substantial amount of money, please pray with me that our loan will be granted for the amount that we need. I truly feel that God has brought me to this point in my life, obstacles and all and I continue to pray that my financial prayers will be answered and we will be able to move forward with the plans that God has set forth in my life.
Thank you for the years and years you have prayed for me. It has made the difference in my life.

Father God, You know our needs even before we do, so I pray accordingly for Your mightiest blessings to be upon Tiffany and her husband, Christopher. Lord, I pray that this loan request will go through without delay for this family bringing the breakthrough they need. Move mightily, Father. All glory, honor and praise to You. Amen

I will never pray in agreement for people to go farther into debt.
When this came through I did not join in because I cannot pray for debt.
I can pray for wisdom for you to live within your means.
I can pray for prosperity to come into your lives.
But debt is not the will of God.
Please believe God for wisdom and prosperity.
Especially if you are going to become parents.
You will want to raise your child(children) in a happy home.
Debt is a marriage killer.
Be one of the strong and original people who make good choices and adjust their lives to live within their means.
Owning stuff is not nearly as important as being happy.

Are we not to be the LENDER rather than the borrower?
The Bible says to owe no man anything except love.
(My Bible program will not open, so I can't look up references.)
A loan means you owe something to someone.
It means you become a servant to the insitution you borrowed from.
We are to be servants of God.
God never said that we were to use debt as a means to get what we need.
The Bible says God knows what we need before we ask Him.
Rather than ask for a loan, ask for what you need: A HOUSE.
Forget the payments.
Forget the mortgage.
Forget long years of this hanging over your head....falling behind, having to refinance....etc. On and on.
Don't put yourself in this bondage.
God gave the children of Israel houses they had not built.
They did not buy these houses. They were GIVEN to them.
To pray that God lets you get a loan is to pray contrary to His Word.
God wants to give His children good gifts.
Every good and perfect gift comes from the Father.
A loan IS NOT a good and perfect gift.
A loan is what we believe for when we buy into the world's ways.
These companies want to enslave you.
God wants you to be FREE.
The same passage that says we will be the head and not the tail says we will be the LENDER and not the borrower.
God does not give us money to get it tied up in the world's financial institutions.
God gives us money to build His Kingdom.
The childlren of Israel took all the riches with them when they left Egypt, not to build houses, but to finance the building of The Tabernacle.
OK, I know I am at odds with many Christians, maybe many on this board. But the Bible has no supporting scriptures for loans. I simply can not ever pray to own a house by going down the American road of loans and long years of payments. No, I pray for a house FREE AND CLEAR. I would rather pay rent than be enslaved to one of these institutions. At least if my entire life plan changes, I am not locked into a contract with payments I can't afford to make.
I beleive this road block is GOD. He is telling you to STOP!
Dear Lord, please send Tiffany and Christopher a miracle house. NOT a loan. Give them a house. Provide every dollar they need, right up front, so they can pay for a house outright. I think of the family that paid $1 for this huge, beautiful house. Lord, You can do ANYTHING. Loans are not necessary. Bring Tiffany's faith up to a new level: a level that knows that God can totally bypass the plans of man and get them a house. In Jesus Name, amen.

Sister Tiffany, before I say anything I want you to know that everyone here has nothing but love in their hearts for you and wants the best for you just like God does. We would never wish to deprive you of anything that your heart desires within God's perfect will.
I'm very concerned that you mentioned that these obstacles to getting the loan were attacks of the devil trying to get you to turn away from God. Little sister I pray your personal relationship to Heavenly Father can't be damaged by the not receiving financial rewards. If it can be, you're in for some very bitter disappointments. I'd rather see you living in a tent than risk not seeing you in heaven.
Your sisters here are right, and they only want what they know through their faith in God that's right for you. God charges us all to be good stewards of the gifts He gives us. He tells us that if we are faithful in a few things He will trust us with even greater things. So I'd ask that you sit down and see what can you do with what you have to satisfy and pay your obligations. If that means trimming the vine from a few frills to get more fruit later, then lets get the shears out and start trimming. You'll thank these saints later if you can be strong and do what you know in your heart is best. WE ALL LOVE YOU VERY MUCH AND SO DOES GOD.
Father god, I come to You in faith and believing asking this prayer for our beloved sister Tiffany and her husband Christopher for the wisdom to know Your will and purpose for their lives. If You are about to bless them with children, let them know what they need to do to prepare a home that is Christ centered and that will teach by example that things of Your world are more important than things of this world. We ask that You would open a window in heaven and pour out a blessing of provision that will meet all the needs of their family.
All these things we pray in the name of our redeemer, Christ Jesus. Amen

Yes, Jon Henry, is right, it is only out of love that we say these things. Too many people are struggling with making the payments, feeling like they are bound....when perhaps God had a totally different plan for them. Just trust that His Word is right, that He has a better plan for us, since His Word speaks against loans.

Isaiah 48:17
Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
Lord, I pray in agreement with Rachel. Release the floodgates of wisdom and prosperity onto this couple.
Show them how to turn into profit what You have blessed them with. Amen

O dear gracious God, please do most absolutely see to it that this loan is most graciously granted and in the amount that they need for the monthly payment that they can afford. I ask of You in Jesus name I pray, Amen.
