Son and Girlfriend

Please pray for my son and girlfriend as their increase in arguments has created quite a hurtful rift. Please pray that this rift will lead them closer to God and ultimately to their salvation in Christ.

Please pray my son will not harden his heart when he has the opportunity for emotional closeness as his father abandoned him years ago and he seems to struggle with not sabatoging opportunity for an emotionally close relationship. He is 28 years old.

Right now, his girlfriend found him in a totally unexpected and shocking circumstance and is very hurt. Please pray that they will seek God with all of their heart and be lead to the Lord sooner than later. Please pray that they will lean on the closeness with God the Father who never leaves us or forsakes us and pray they will be able to trust our Lord and Saviour with their lives. Thank you so very much for the blessing of your prayer to God for my son and his girlfriend! Is is such a relief to know others are lifting your burden to God in prayer as you are doing also. May God bless each one!

Merciful God of all creation, thank You for this chance to be a useful tool in Your kingdom. Thank You for the generosity of Your grace, mercy and loving kindness to us all. I come to You in faith and believing in prayer to lay this petition at the foot of the cross of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Father God, this mother is in anguish for her son and his girl friend and the way they are sharing their lives in turmoil. I ask You Lord to stretch out Your hand and remove the hostility and hatred from these two loved ones and replace it with Your heavenly love and gentleness. Soften their hearts Lord and fill them both with the desire to seek Your face for salvation, understanding and guidance.

Send Your Holy Comforter to the mother and ease her anxieties and anguish about these young people. Reach out to her and fill her with Your divine wisdom to know the right things to say and do that will encourage these two young souls to turn from their worldly ambitions with its frustrations and discontentment. Inspire them to reconcile themselves to each other and to You Father. Whatever the unsuspected circumstance was that caused the pain between her son and his girl friend, let them forgive one another and not have any seed of bitterness or resentment between them. And finally and most importantly Lord, light a fore of desire in both these people to aggressively pursue the forgiveness of their sins by the grace of the cross of our Savior Christ Jesus and their eternal salvation. I ask all these things in the beloved name of our Redeemer, Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen
