I have been praying for help for a long time and it doesnt seem as if
God is hearing me. I have come to the conclusion that this is my time to
leave this world. If God doesnt want me to do this then maybe there will
be a post that will make me change my mind. This is probably the last time i will reach out for help if this is his will.

Dear Heavenly Father, please help this lost sole as we know that you would not want her to end her life. Please help her to see that life is worth living and when it is time for her to meet you in heaven, you will take her in your own way and not by taking her own life, a gift from you. Please watch over her and guide her to see the way and help her out of the darkness that has befallen her.

Amen

So, you think God is so untrustworthy that he is deliberately ignoring your prayer and yet you want to face him TODAY?

That doesn't seem logical to me.

If you aren't certain that God forgives suicide, aren't you taking an awful chance?

Dead is a long time.

I wouldn't risk it.

I don't know what this magical prayer is that you think that if God would just give it to you everything will be all right, but I am pretty sure your situation is not as bad as an inescapable eternal hell.

Wake up and smell the coffee.

God doesn't need to change. You do.

Find out how to do that.

Vkinn,

There's a couple of reason God may not be answering your prayers. One is an answer by itself "not yet".

Are you really willing to accept His answer or do you want to treat this like a drive through window at Burger King. I say a prayer or really "place and order" and bingo order up or else I go to the next drive through window I can find. God doesn't respond well to ultimatums.

There's obviously something that's hurt you or disappointed you very much, but don't blame God. My heart is sad for you but I know that God can fix anything or take anything and use it for the good of those who believe. He wants nothing but the very best for you. The only thing He asks is that we agree to do as He asks us and love Him back. If you really love someone, you try to do everything you can think of to make that person happy, so they know you love them. That's human nature. Destroying one of the most precious gifts from God, our lives , is not an act of love.

There's a couple things that hinders God's ability to hear and answer our prayers. If you're not saved yet, that's the very first thing on the agenda, sincerely accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, not just lip service, really mean it. The second is willful disobedience. If you're doing something you already know He doesn't like, you know, like sin or something. Repent from it and ask for forgiveness. Then ask Him what to do, what purpose are you supposed to have in life and get quiet and listen. This is gonna be a seven course meal with multiple desserts, so it make take a while to get it all cooked up. He'll start with a small portion now and slowly build up to the main course, if you know what I mean. He told us that those who are faithful in a few things will be trusted with many things later. So now, what's your pleasure, your way to uncertainty or His way to eternal life? The choice is all yours. I beg you to choose wisely.

Heavenly Father, I come to You in faith and believing in Your omnipotent wisdom and purpose for al our lives. I ask that You would reach out and touch this loved one in despair and emotional anguish with Your healing hands of comfort and love and grace and mercy. Wipe away all the tears of sorrow and bitterness and replace them with Your joy and gladness and appreciation for the blessing of Your faithful loving kindness toward us, even when we aren't very loveable. Cover this wayward spirit with Your heavenly blanket of warmth and love and protection so they will feel Your love and know You have great things just waiting for them to claim. I thank You Lord for Your limitless grace and mercy that forgives all our sins and makes us new and acceptable in Your sight again each time we turn to You. I ask all these things in the beloved name of our Redeemer, Christ Jesus. amen
God loves you very much and so do all of us here.
With the love of Christ

Your brother Jon Henry

God forgives Suicide..But remember in the new testment the apostle paul says that god gives us light afflictions we as childern of the earth see our afflictions big but god sees them light

the holy spirit spoke to me and showed me an example one time I had a aquarium full of fish and one day three fish died the affilictions ofthe tank was too much for the fish..now I know what your thinking does god causes suicide

no... we lose our sight and thought we dont think the way god thinks and sees..remember Isaiah the great justifier of Gods people Isreal..Isaiah says
My ways are not your ways my thoughts are not your thoughts he;s not condeming you of thoughts he just saying your thoughts are not his thoughts so dont get offended so my mistake was not using gods consent on treating the fish tank his way so I repented even if it was just a fish tank
remember God ministers to the lowest of creation even all of things created

so the answer was that I had the (temp) was too high for the fish and the fish died.but the problem was resolved but the damage was done but I was forgiven...

All this suffering and no change, no improvement...

What can be done?

God set up the laws that run everything.

They work, but you have to line up with the laws.

God is not ignoring or neglecting you.

You have to make the choices to change your circumstances.

Are you making moves to find out all you can about God and the laws he set up?

Are you in a strong, progressive church that teaches the Word, and doesn't mess around?

There are a ton of Christian teaching on TV now. Watch them all.

Are you seeking God in prayer and trying to conform yourself to him?

No amount of bawling and squalling in prayer will move God.

Faith moves God. Get your armor on and STAND.

Confess, repent, believe and learn.

God says for us to ask and then seek and then knock.

He says that wisdom is always available, and he loves to hand it out.

Believe that God is good and that he is trying to help you get the wisdom you need to change all of your lives.

Stop listening to the lies of the enemy and throw that snake out of your Garden of Eden!

As the leader of your family, you can bring growth and truth and blessing to your household.

Study up on breaking generational sin and tearing down the awful strongholds that are tormenting your family.

You are an eternal spirit and a warrior.

Fight for your freedom and the deliverance of your family.
Lord, I come to you in prayer for Vernon and his family.

I bind them all to the Mind of Christ and the will of God for them.

I lose off fear and doubt and unbelief and sickness and disease.

I bless them with wisdom and prosperity.

In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Sometimes it appears that God isn't listening or answering our prayers because we want His blessings our way. If he doesn't give us what we want, when we want it, in the manner we expect it, then we act like spoiled children and stomp around saying,"God's not listening."
Sometimes because of our unconfessed sin and our prideful arrogance, our prayers bounce off the ceiling. Then we blame God for our disobedience.

I don't know what message you hope to hear. I DO know this; Your body is not your own! You were bought for a price. Jesus died for you. No matter what you are going through, God already knows it. HE knows the exact amount of time we all have on this earth. He knows the exact number of hairs on our heads.
Psalm 139:13-14 says: He "didst form my inward parts." He "didst weave me in my mother's womb...I am fearfully and wonderfully made."
The Bible says that God has plans for you; plans for your welfare and not calamity. Plans to give you a future and a hope.
You were created for His purpose. You were not an accident, a coincidence or unplanned. God knew you before you were conceived!

Father God,
Thank You for ALL that You have given me. Thank You for each and every day and each and every person You put in my path. Lord, please be with vkinn. Please comfort his hurting heart. Please draw him closer to You. Lord, we don't know what Your Will is, but we do know You have a plan for each one of us. Please help vkinn to discover his spiritual gifts so that he may serve You. Please send a witness who will share Your Word with him. Please shine a light where there is now darkness. Please let the only voice he hears be yours. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus' Name I Pray. Amen.

Sharyn

None of us can save you. Only Jesus can save you. Have you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour? If not, what are you waiting for? Make today the day that you put Jesus first in your life- once and for all- so that you can put your faith and trust in the One True God. The God Who loves. The God Who saves. The God Who forgives. The God Who will not leave you nor forsake you. It's as easy as A-B-C. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Accept the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Believe. Believe that Jesus is God's One and Only Son. Believe that He took your sins and died on the cross as payment for your sins. Believe that God raised Him from the dead. Confess. Confess that you are a sinner. Confess your sins to God. Confess that Jesus is Lord!

"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result"
I don't know who said it, but it makes sense.

I searched all of your posts and for 3 years your family has suffered financial problem after financial problem, setback after set back and job losses left and right. You've done it your way for far too long. Now try things God's way.
You and your wife need to do some housekeeping.
The female friend who won't talk to you anymore- THANK YOU, JESUS! You're a married man- you don't need any female friends. I don't care if she's Mother Theresa's twin sister- gone! Outta here! Sayonara!

If your family is not currently attending church together- why not? Christians do not do well outside of church! Period. This website and televangelists and Christian music are NOT substitutes for the fellowship and accountability that in-person contact with other members of the Body of Christ can provide. Not to mention the daily prayers that having a body of believers by your side can bring.
Your kids are lost? OK. Reel 'em back in! Get them involved in a Bible-teaching youth ministry. None of this "I don' wanna" "I don't feel like it" "it's lame.." blah blah blah. whatever. Drag 'em kicking and screaming, snotting and snivelling. It's time to take some spiritual inventory.
Get yourself involved in a men's ministry and Bible study. Get an accountability partner. Apologize to your wife and ask her forgiveness. Pray with her. Pray with your family- out loud- at dinner; at lunch; out in public. And get the kids to pray and give thanks, too.
Your ship is sinking- don't jump ship...grab a bucket and bail! Toss out all of the rocks (emotional baggage, other people's drama, negativity) you have piled up in your life. Some junk just isn't meant to be picked up and/or dragged around. Leave it alone!
Get yourself and your wife into marriage counselling. Talk to your pastor. There are some counselors who will take in pastoral referrals for a lower fee. And talk to the Great Counselor! Don't forget your Loving Father Who wants to hear from you!
Give it over to God. That is different from,"God take this from me.." I mean say,"God I am giving this to You. I cannot do this by myself."
Then give it to Him...and leave it alone. Don't go picking it up again!!!
We all want to give it over to God...then we want to take it back and haul it around by ourselves...as if we donb't trust God to handle our problems properly. Trust Him! He has been doing this job for well over 2000 years. I think His track record speaks volumes! He can do it. He's proved Himself over and over. Now it's time for you to trust Him. Let Go and Let God.

Have a blessed day!

Exodus 20:13

Thou shalt not kill

Vkinn, this is what the bible says about murder. You are not allowed to kill anyone not even yourself!!!

Murder is sin. The penalty for it is an eternity in the lakefire away from God and light.

So what is it that God has refused to give you? Is it something worth taking your life for?

I challenge you to tell us what your problem is so that we can storm heavens on your behalf for an answer.

Father in the Name of Jesus, I plead the blood of Jesus Christ on Vkinn. I speak life in every aspect of his life that has been dry. I prophecy supernatural blessings on all that he lays hands to do from this day henceforth.

The Bible says that nothing shall be impossible with You. May the LIFE contained in this Promise permeate Vkinn's life and revolutionize it.

In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Vkinn-

I'm sorry I didn't catch this thread before now. But, I would like to share something with you if I may.

I've reached the age of 50. But, back at the age of 15, I was so fed up with life and negative happening to me, I quit believing in God and decided to kill myself. I went out into the woods to my favorite quiet place. I took my favorite duck hunting shotgun with me.

I brought one shell along, as believed thats all I needed. I pointed it at my head, pulled the trigger and nothing happened. I pulled the hammer back again and pulled the trigger. Again nothing happened. A third time and it did not fire.

Disgusted, I evenually reurned to our home. A friend came out to me and talked to me that nite on a dock by a river. He turned me around in believing in God enough to convince me to seek proof God was real and His Word true.

After 4 years of intense studying and researching this, God started me doing ministry for Him. This has gone on for 30 years now.

Notice tho, God did not answer my prayers spoken early on, until later, at His chosen time for me. At what I thought was my lowest point, God answered my prayers and delivered me from satan's influence and control. Then, He Blessed me by changing my life totally.

Vkinn, God will answer your prayers, but you must be patient for Him to do it at His chosen time for you.

Suicide is one sin that can never be forgiven by God. Why? We are to make our choices while still alive in this physical world. Once we die, its too late to change our minds. Just read Christ's story of the "Richman and Lazarus" and what happened to each of them- Lk.16:19. You'll find the richman died and imediately lifted up his eyes from Hell. He asked Abraham to be helped in relieving his pain, to send Lazarus to cool his lips with water, but this was impossible Abraham said.

So, if you kill yourself, you will be lost to God forever, in torment, first in Hell, then eternally in the- "Lake of Fire"- Rev. 19:20, 20:10,14.

I understand your frustration and feelings of being totally alone. But, you are not. God is there, its just sometimes we feel so depressed, we can't feel His presence because darkness blocks it from us.

Don't do this my friend. Believe in God. Have faith He will carry you thru this. Read the unknown author's story called- "Footprints". You'll be amazed to find where God was always there even when we never thought so.

I pray this helps. God Bless!!

Lord- I pray for Vkinn, that you will show them you are real and present beside them at all times. Help them to know you haven't left or forgotten them, but love and care for them, as you did me at such a tough time. Turn things around for them and help them to be lifted up and strengthened to walk steadily and boldly towards you, knowing you are always with them. In Jesus Name- Amen!!

VKinn, I hope you are still reading on this site, checking into this thread.

We care about you.

Your question is: Does God forgive suicide?

My question is: Why would you commit suicide THEN try to find out?

The Bible says you shouldn't murdar.

Isn't taking your own life murdar?

If you die with sin you haven't repented of, you can not be forgiven.

How can you repent, when the very sin you commit sends you to death?

Once dead, any chance of repenting is out of your hands.

The Bible says it is commited unto men once to die and after this the judgement.

How God?

That is what I used to say, when I was a younger man.

It was sooo hard to read about men like job, losing his family, yet God called him righteous.

Sister maybe God calls you righteous too, the enemy loves to sift some as wheat..

You know what?

Jesus loves us...no I don't mean that cheap cliché, I mean "HE REALLY LOVES US"..

HE knows you and every hair on your head, God claims he is perfect, knows all and can do no wrong. What do you say? Is He a liar" NO, he doesn't lie... I know life is hard, and it is not suppose to be easy...For WE MUST overcome...

How can God prove that He loves, or that He forgives? Unless there is someone to love and to forgive, someone unlovable, or that doesn't deserve forgiveness...These are the ones He loves and forgives...

What if you and I didn't exist, how could God ever show himself to be a father, without sons or daughters...

How could he ever show Himself to be a (forgive me) a forgiver without someone who need forgiveness...

A lover without someone to love...That’s you..Bless you..

Dear Vkinn,

We have been praying for you and I hope that you have experienced God's love and touch in your life. Tell us please what the Lord our God has done and is doing in Your life.

Dear VKinn, I am agreeing in prayer with all of the prayer warriors that you have given your life to Jesus and that you are not going to commit suicide. I hope that you have come to the conclusion that life is worth living and that life (with God's help and prayer) will get better. Be a positive thinker...death is so final (unless you are a Christian and go to Heaven)...so don't take the life that God has so graciously blessed you with. No problem is too big for our Awesome Heavenly Father, and he can move mountains....if you have the faith of a mustard seed! Don't give up! Many prayer warriors are praying for you. Please let us know how you are doing...WE CARE! God bless you and help you through this difficult time. He will help you if you will only trust Him, have faith....and live for HIM. I hope you have read something in all of these posts that will help you.
In Jesus' Precious, Holy Name,
Angela
LET GO AND LET GOD! HE CAN MAKE A WAY WHERE THERE IS NO WAY...PTL AND AMEN!
