Hungry for His presents...or His presence?

Thank You Lord, for "fanning the flame" once again. Thank You Lord for not letting the embers die out. When it seemed like the fire had gone out Your Holy Spirit blew upon me. Underneath the grey ashes were burning embers still red-hot!
Lord, I am critical of phony christianity, and I admit that does not exempt me from the same things I criticize. I think there is a little hypocrisy in all of us--for we all fall short of Your glory and I am included in that as well.
Now with that being said...this is what I came to say this day.
I think a lot of people are hungry for the presents of Christianity--the blessings, the favor, the healings, the miracles the prosperity. In fact I believe that is what is most popular in what I see as the user-friendly church today.
I just got my appetite back for His presence!
1. God is Omni-Present--I remember singing as a child, "He's here He's there, He's everywhere--so beware"!
Isaiah 6:3: Everything done in secret will be revealed someday!
2. The Indwelling Presence fo God--John 15:4 ..lives in me, and I in him and also in Galatians 5:22 ..develops the character in us and deposits the fruits of the Holy Spirit in us
3. His Manifest Presence--This is it! I am hungry for His manifest presence. His annointing that breaks the yoke of bondage. His Holy Spirit that imparts, fills the temple with His glory. His gold dust, sweet aroma of perfume--of roses. His glory! His Shekinah glory!
Lord I enter into the courtyards of Your presence and prepare myself. I confess my sins and repent of all wrongdoings. I forgive those who have trespassed against me and I ask you to forgive them as well. Lord forgive me as well, for my trespasses against others. Forgive me for the things I have thought, said and done. Forgive me as well for the things I have failed to do or say.
Now I enter into Your outer courts with thanksgiving on my lips and in my heart. I shout Your works from the rooftops as I am reminded of all that You have already done for me in the natural sunlight of the temple outer court. Hear this voice giving You, Lord all the glory!
And now I enter into the inner court, lit by candlesticks. The inner court where I give you all praise, honor and glory for the things You shall do. I call those things that are not as though they were. Glory to the Lamb of God. Thank You for the faith to declare and decree in the heavens and on the earth.
And now, Lord, I enter in the holy of holies. In Your presence. I prostrate myself before You as I am not worthy on my own. Thank You for making me "perfect, holy and blameless" through the imparted righteousness of Jesus Christ, for without His blood I am burned up in Your presence.
In theis place of worship my spirit communes with Your Holy Spirit. The language I speak is not my own. In my own flesh I cannot create the words to commune with You. Your ways are higher than my ways, Your thoughts are beyond my comprehension...
I give You all of myslef...for that is all that I have. I am no longer my own. You bought me and paid for me with the highest price imaginable...the prescious blood of Your only Son, Jesus. I am not worthy, Lord only speak the word and it shall be so. For whatever You speak become true...
In Your presence there is only truth...only good....only peace...In Your presence there is no sickness or disease. No more tears...All enemies are scattered in Your presence...We all bow down and say, Holy...Holy...Holy!
--Thank You, Jesus
for making this possible!

Bruce, good word. I receive this teaching with an open heart and mind. I, like you, am hungry for His presence. There is no greater joy for me than communing with him. So, I thank You so much for this word. Blessings!

This is so awesome. My prayer is that all of us -- and I need this as much as anyone! -- will be after GOD, not after what He can do for us.
