I need a prayer for my marriage of 29 years. My husband Robert had an affair with a younger woman (Janet, small enough to be his daughter). We have been together since we were teens. He's been gone 1 year and says he doesn’t want to come back. He lives with his mother who also doesn’t love me. He has totally cut me and our 4 children out of his life. He has changed so much, our family used to be the most important thing in his life. He breaks commandments now so easily and said shortly before he left that he doesn’t love me anymore. His mother advised him to marry another woman; she wanted to keep us apart. Thank you...

Well, Mommy got her little boy back.

Let's see how long she likes it.
Lord, please wake this man up and grow him up.

Make his choices and their consequences very clear to him.

Open his eyes, open his ears and open his mind.

I break off the spirit of 'baby', the spirit of 'selfishness' and the spirit of 'lust'.

I loose the umbilical and set him free from Mommy.

Please cut them both loose.

In Jesus' Mighty Name, Amen.
Decide carefully in your heart if you want him to return.

You may have hard decisions ahead.

Please put your children first and do only what is best for them.

God be with you and inspire you as you raise these dear children!

Ancient of Days, when this Robert left his father and mother to be united to his wife, his wedding vows were "till death do us part." Remind him of the vows he made 29 years ago.

Fill Robert with Your Holy Spirit and turn his heart back toward marriage covenant union. Tear down strongholds (of lust of eyes, lust of flesh and selfishness) that are driving him away from his family.

Please Father bring this marriage back on track.

And please forgive Janet and give her a partner meet.

Grind her relationship to to a sudden halt.

Grant that Robert will never look at any woman again but will look solely to You and to his family.

Deal with him in whatever way You deem fit.

Lord You know what is best in this marriage. Lord please touch the heart of this husband and show him his need to get his life right with You. Lord show him how he is doing exactly what Satan wants as his actions are sinful. Lord be with this lady and her children Lord show her what it is that You want for her, what is best for the children as well. Lord I know how hard it is to give up on a husband as I have been through this myself after 25 yrs. Help this lady know what You want her to do and when to say okay Lord guide and direct me in the path You want me to go. Lord let Your will be done in this situation.

Lord please bring this family together again. I ask that you break her husbands heart and change it. Please open his eyes and let him see that his place is with his family and not where he is at. Please remove the woman thats keeping him from coming home. I ask that you restore this marriage and you bring healing to sammy372. Thank you Lord...........

Father God, I stand in the gap of these prayer petitions for this mother/wife. Allow her to see what it is that YOU and only YOU have stored for her and her children, whether it is with or without the husband.This I pray in YOUR holy ever lasting name Father God, that Thy's will shall be and will be done for this mother/wife and children. Keep your head up sister in Christ. For HE and only HE will make a way for you and your children.

I stand in agreement with these saints in prayer for our sister Sammy,and add my own to theirs.

Heavenly Father, I come to You as Your child, bought out of slavery to sin by the blood of the cross of my Redeemer Jesus Christ. I claim You now as the Lord of my life and acknowledge You as the ruler of the universe. Forgive me for all that I have done that is not pleasing to You. Cleanse me of all unrighteousness I come before You Lord in faith and believing in Your limitless power, grace and mercy asking for a blessing of discernment, understanding, provision and protection for this sister suffering from the heart ache and distress of her husbands unfaithfulness and abandonment. Help her Lord to know what Your will is for her and her family and guide her foot steps through the transition from where she is now to where You need her to be. Holy Spirit intercede for this loved one and give utterance to God’s ear of the things we don’t know to ask for this sister. These things I ask and pray in the most precious holy name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen and amen
