I bought a Christian movie "Facing The Giants". If you have not seen this movie yet- RENT IT. Today!!
This is an excellent family movie- not a curse word anywhere- not even in the bloopers!
It was written directed and stars members of Sherwood Baptist Church from Albany, Georgia.
It is about a floundering Christian school football team and their struggling coach and how they overcome spiritual apathy to bring their team back on track and revival in their school.
If you want a really good movie for you and the fam' that you can watch over and over and not have to worry about appropriateness and language issues- this is it!
The outtakes are a riot and the story behind this movie (it's fiction) are incredible. The credit had me cracking up when I read the huge list of caterers and realized it was the whole church that had cooked for the production team and actors!!
Compared with the junk being offered at Blockbuster (slash 'em movies, inappropriate language movies, do-we-need-another-animated-animal-movie?, Such-n-Such 3) this is a breath of fresh air!
