Daughter is lost

Lord, I feel like my prayers are not being heard. Amanda is so lost Lord. Lost to you and to us. She is klinging onto this boy Elliott like he is her God and nothing I say or do can make her see him for what he is. I've been praying constantly for you to remove this young man from her life, but you have other plans. Right now, Lord we are getting ready to lose her forever. She graduates from High School and has no plans of going to school or getting a job, her whole life is wrapped up in this boy. She is planning to leave because now she can and I am dying inside. Please help us Lord, please make this go away and help her to return to you. She belongs to you, please take hold of her right now Lord, please don't allow her to ruin the life that you have for her. Please don't allow her to make these mistakes Lord, please help her. My sisters and brothers in Christ please keep us in your prayers, please give us strength for this trial. I am so heart broken and torn. Please help us.... Amen.

Hsa 2:6 Therefore, behold, I will hedge up thy way with thorns, and make a wall, that she shall not find her paths. Hsa 2:7 And she shall follow after her lovers, but she shall not overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall not find [them]: then shall she say, I will go and return to my first husband; for then [was it] better with me than now.

Father let it be said: No one can take Amanda out of your hands.
Hsa 2:10 And now will I discover her lewdness in the sight of her lovers, and none shall deliver her out of mine hand.

Father let her find her way home in Jesus Name we pray AMEN.

Dear Deborah,

The more you demand and try to pull her away from this young man, the tighter she will hold on.

She is at the separation stage and she cannot obey or submit to you right now.

She is running for her very life.

This is a very common scenario. Many parents go through this.

She will destroy herself to keep from doing what you want.

Many people marry the wrong person just because their parents don't want them to.

Please have the courage to discuss this with a counselor or do some reading on it.

The courage to have faith in the foundations that you have built in her life instead of what you are seeing now can be hard to find.

Please try to remember being a teenager.

She is fighting for control of her own life.

Please release her and believe in her.

Your hysteria drives her right into his arms.

Religious jargon drives her away from God.

Praying for you and your family...

Help them through this hard and painful time.

Bring wisdom and understanding and rescue them.

Please let maturity come quickly.

Lord Jesus you are the God of the Lost, Lord go rescue Amanda as a shepherd rescues a lamb that strays from the flock. fill her with your love that would be open and warm to her even when she still in sin. Father grant this parents the grace to let her go. for grace not to lay judgment on her. grace to keep their mouth shut and their heart open with love and compassion. Pray for grace to not speak with a mouth that is critical or judgmental. I pray that whatever or whoever Amanda is placing her trust in outside of Jesus would dry up. for disillusionment towards the very things that once drew her and held her captive. She will realize something is wrong, and her eye be open to the truth of her situation. and pray against the delusion of the enemy would try to bring her. I pray that she would long to the love and warm of her home. protect her and keep her safe.. In Jesus name Amen
