The week of May the 20th my grandmother, aunt, and 3 cousins came for my older brother's graduation. On saturday may 26th my aunt was sick, we thought she just had the stomach bug that had been going around recently. Later, she got a lot worse. My mom decided to take her to a walk in clinic to see if they could give her some medicine since she was supposed to be going home that day. My mom didnt even get her signed in before they told my mom to take her to the ER. So, she did. She had not gone a whole mile before my aunt started breathing sharply and saying she could not breathe, my mom kept on speeding through the streets praying that she would be alright. She didnt get much farther before my aunt stopped breathing all together. She was dead for 5 minutes (i'm not exaggerating). After that she woke up. And was rushed in the hospitle. The doctors did test all night to try and figure out what was wrong. One doctor (whom my family i believe did not know what they were doing) released my aunt from the ER be she said my aunt was just dehydrated. So she came home. The next morning I was afraid of what had happened, walked into our kitchen, and there she stood. feeding her 2 year old baby some cereal. She looked better than i have ever seen her look. So that day she went back to her house (which is like 4 hours away) my grandmother drove, but my aunt was awake and talking the whole time. (I went with them, one of my cousin's is my age and we wanted to spend more time together) On monday my aunt went to the doctor. When she got home, she walked in with tears in her eyes. The doctor told her she had an allergic reaction to somthing she had eaten while she was at my house, and the reaction caused her body to form a blood clot in her lung. The doctor told her that he had no reason for her being well and alive except God decided to give her a little more time, before he called her home. Now my aunt must go through the process of trying to figure out what caused the allergic reation, and she carries and epipen with her all the time. My aunt is 37. Her kids are 2, 7 and 14.
I praise God for giving my aunt more time on this earth. So thank you Lord for saving her!

Oh Lord we give You the glory in this case with the aunt and this allergic reaction. Lord please help her to find the cause of the reaction so she can stay away from whatever cause the attack in the first place. Lord we give You the glory for this and for the aunt being alive and well.

Amen
