Daughter is Out of Control

Prayer Board I am asking for your help. My daughter is 19 years old and is very, very, very rebellious. She has burned her bridges with everyone in the family that was willing to deal with her and now she is back home. Her attitude is so bad that no one wants to deal with her. She has scarred her aunt, grandmother and my husband and I. There is nothing that we could say to her that will make her see the light.

My mom says that experience is the best teacher, but I really would hate to see her on the streets. She cannot be trusted with anything including being alone at home. Please help us in praying for my daughter before it is too late.

Put her out
and you will see a swift about face
Your daughter belongs to God
Trust Him!!!

Jesus give this mother
the ability to love enough to let go
and let you be God
God I pray for a turn around in this girls life
Everyone has been rescuing her and she has no appreciation
God take her now and be with her even
when this mother is not
Open this girls heart to receive you Jesus
break down her walls
and save her!

Lord Jesus grant this mother and this family the grace to let this daughter go, and let you be God over her, Lord do whatever it takes to turn her around. lord we Place her in your mighty hands, be so real and alive in her life and let her have a face to face encounter with Jesus. Lord pour your love so compassionate in her life, that she will receive it and draw her to you. In Jesus name Amen

I agree Lord in prayer. There is no limit to what You can do with the works of Your hands.

Mould this girl. Set her heart on You. Let her run into Your strong and powerful arms. May she find what she is looking for in You.

Heal all wounds she has received and caused. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Lord, I cry out to you for this dear young girl!

Please rescue her!

Please send people whose voices she will listen to and have them speak straight into her suffering.

May they shoot arrows of love into her pain.

Make her choices and their consequences very clear to her.

I ask you to send anyone who is helping her to destroy herself far, far away.

Drive out the rebellious heart and give her a new heart of flesh.

I speak that this girl will be standing in the midst of her family, changed and in her right mind, very soon.

May she carry freedom and teach others how to find it all the days of her life.

In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Oh Father i feel what this mother is feeling. I feel her desperation her hopelessness, her broken heart.
Prayers and words sometimes dont seem enough, there are no words to express what a mother sometimes has to go through. So I ask You Lord, to send the Comforter to comfort this battered, bruised mother-heart, to wrap it in Your love and carry her through the valley.
Her daughter, Lord place her footsteps inside Your footsteps. Surround her with Your angels to watch over her. I know how it is, sometimes they have to go their own way until they cant go anymore, but as a mother it is unbearable to have to watch powerless... I plead the Blood of Jesus over this young girl, I plead with You to put an end to the rebellion..i plead with You that you will also give this poor mother exactly what she needs, strength, faith, end more faith, to get through this.
Dear dear sister, its easy for me to say, but easier for me to believe for someone elses situation, and i DO believe that God will turn everything around, Everything IS going to be alright. Everything IS going to be altight...it is.

O dear Lord, please rush to this beloved daughter's rescue! Convict her of her wrongful ways! Please get to her and soften her heart as only You can before it's too late, for she may not be able to handle life on the streets. Send a person who has the gift of dealing with people like her. Bring her to her knees Father and have her repent as You protect her from hitting rock bottom as only You can by the power of Your most amazing grace. In Jesus mighty name I pray, Amen.

Heavenly Father,

I stand in agreement with this prayer. Give this girl's mother the strength to do what she must. Take the scales off this family's eyes and show them that they are interfering with Your work, and doing her no good, by preventing her from facing the full consequences of her choices.

Show this girl that You are real! Bring her to a place where she craves a relationship with You through Jesus Christ more than rebellion. Show her how much You and her earthly family love her. Inform this child in no uncertain terms who is really in control of her life!

Send godly people into her life who can speak Your truth to her in a way her heart, mind and soul truly understand it. Put strong angels at her side as she takes baby steps along the path You have made for her. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

I hope this mom gets a copy of Stormie OMartian's "The Power of a Praying Parent." I got this book when my daughter was going through a rebellious phase. The prayers in this book helped me when I wasn't sure what to say. I prayed through her room, touching her stuff as I did so. My daughter is now praying and involved with a good church. This book helped me to give the situation to the Lord and strengthen my communication with him too.


Heavenly Father,

I pray that You will continue to watch over this family as they struggle with their rebellious daughter. Remove all obstacles between this young woman and fulfillment of Your purpose for her life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
