husband having severe back pain

My husband has had back problems for many years due to previous injuries and for the past few days he has had pain which is getting progressively worse and now radiating down his legs and he is having much difficulty walking or sitting. I wanted to take him to the ER last night but he wouldn't go, saying that if the pain was as bad today then he would go to the walk in clinic. He finally got to sleep early this morning after taking pain meds and muscle relaxants and is still sleeping. please pray that he will agree to see a doctor today if the pain is still bad. I am concerned that he may have a herniated disk in his lower back.

FAther God,
I pray for this man you know who he is. I ask you to give him wisdom to go to the doctor and give his doctor wisdom to help him. I ask you to protect him from the possibility of addiction to pain medicine given to those with severe back pain. I ask you to heal his back in any way you see fit. I know you can just fix it without the doctor or choose to use those in the medical community to be your hands either way it is your healing that is given. In Jesus Name,Amen.

Precious Jehovah Rapha, I pray in agreement. Touch this husband's back with Your healing hand. Father, I pray that Your cover him with wisdom in regards to treatment. Lord, cover her with the fullness of health and wholeness. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen

THank you GA5966 and Nina for praying for my husband. He saw a doctor at the clinic last weekend and she ordered an MRI which will be done next week. He is having a hard time getting through the day at work because of the pain and he is really tired due to not sleeping well. Hopefully the MRI will reveal what's causing all this pain.
