NON-Christians you are......

I think it's time we get to know the non-Christians who visit and participate in these discussions. There are obviously different reasons why the different non-Christians are here. I would like to dedicate this thread for that purpose.

So, please introduce yourselves, and explain your honest reasons for being here.

And, to the Christians viewing this, please do not post counter-points, arguments or judgments, in this particular thread. We really want to encourage honesty and openness of the non-Christians here, without fear of reprisals. The bulk of people who should be posting here are non-Christians.

My name is Ernie, and I do respect what others believe, but I do understand why they believe the way they do. It is because they were taught it, whether right or wrong. We learn what we are taught, and many times believe it. If I believe 2+2=5, am I right? If I believe the world is flat, am I right? Just food for thought. I believe if you sincerely desire to know truth, God will reveal it to you, regardless of your belief.

Hi Jess, we must all search for our father, and I am glad to see that you are doing that. It has taken me many years of seeking Jesus, studing the bible. I take no man's word on my faith. It is a part of me. I was lost and Jesus found me. He is in my life everyday. I didn't always see things the way I do now. But he has opened my heart and mind, he has cleansed me with his blood, and now I see. He walks with me everyday. I can feel his presence in my life. With out that there would be no Ruth.
God bless you, and keep searching for one day you will find truth.

I agree, I think God is in control of our lives completly, even if we dont believe he is. So ask and you will receive bc he wants us to know the truth.
