What do you say to Jehova's witnesses?

If one of them comes to your house and wants to "sell" you a watchtower magazine what do you say to them? Do you argue with them about their bible or do you not argue at all?
Today I was approached by a JV who tried to convert me.
I don't even know what exactly they believe. I only know that they are a sect and that they are wrong. She tried to tell me that there's only one God and no trinity and that their bible is the only correct bible and so on. She didn't seem to believe that Jesus is eternal and one with the Father as far as I understood it. But after a while she got frustrated and ended the conversation. Somehow it's really sad because those people do so many works and stand therw with their magazines and it's all forsaken. Do they do this voluntarily or are they forced to do this? Does every JV have to do this stuff? To me it seems as if they are simply slaves which have to do these jobs. Even in hospitals they are spreading their magazines. But I have once looked into a watchtower magazine and there was no explanation how to get saved. Even if somebody was interested and wanted to be saved there was no explanation. It would be interesting to hear what their actual goal is. Do they want to convert the people somehow and make them accept Jesus or do they only want to enslave the people and make them become JVs?

We used to live near one of their Kingdom Halls and we were on their route.
I have to say, it was a PAIN.
Sometimes I didn't respond well.
Especially the one's that were dragging little embarrassed children, or even shoving them forward and trying to force them to make the pitch. That really burned me up.
How would a child who had been through that ever learn to trust a loving God?
(Rant, Rant, Rave, Rave....)
The belief seems to be that they get to go to heaven and have rewards and positions in heaven based on how much they are willing to do works here.
My cute Mom used to bring them in and serve them lemonade and ice water.
She would just listen until they ran out of steam and then talk about what they said in the KINDEST way.
Then she would talk about Jesus.
I watched it and it was amazing.
They used to stay a while and often they took one of her little books that she kept around.
They were usually poetry about the love of Jesus.
And she didn't ask them for MONEY! Ha!
I never let them in the house.
I was afraid I would,
1. never get them out
2. have them come every day
3. yell and argue with them in frustration.
I used to see them on the streets and wonder if I would do that if I really believed it was the only way to salvation.
I never did decide.
I am so glad IT IS NOT!!!

So they are basically forced to do this stuff by their belief?
I also cannot imagine that they enjoy standing there with their magazines for hours and the people simply pass them by and ignore them. Nobody could enjoy this, it's totally pathetic somehow. These people must be really enslaved by their religion.

Frederik-
Jehovah's Witnesses believe God is one entity as you said. They also believe Christ was only a man and only a Prophet. So do Mormons, Muslim's and other cults.
Secondly- They believe man can reach some level of godhood by thier works done. They also do not believe any other religion, known as Christian or otherwise are True children of God because they do not accept JW beliefs.
Third- As Mormons, Muslim's and other cults, they also believe there are oly a select few who can truely interpret Scripture and share its true meaning with others.
fourth- A way to know you'll be going to Heaven as thier member, is to be severely active in thier collective beliefs of works taught you must do.
Fifth- If you are one, you cannot marry an "outsider" of thier religion, unless that outsider agrees to convert to thier religion, or the couple is ostersized and both removed from the Church the member belongs to and removed from thier religion's records of being a member.
What you should do, is, tell them you are Christian and belong to God and Christ alone. That by God's Grace thru your faith in Christ as your Lord and Savior, you belong to God and not of works.
One of the quickest ways to get them to leave is just keep sharing Scriptures with them that contradict the meaning of the earlier Scriptures they try to explain. They will see you understand more than they expect and will leave, as they will run out of answers to give you hehe.
God Bless!!
