Recieved a call from leadership tonight.
Next Sunday my hubby and I will be introducing the new children's minister to the children.
Please pray that the transistion goes well for everyone and that the children are able to connect with the new leadership.
Part of me is sad about stepping down after teaching/ administrations for so many years, yet I know it's for the best. I must submit to my husband and he says our season ended. I want a right heart before God and my husband and to keep my focus on Christ.
Thank You for your prayers. Kindly, Grace

I'm very embarrassed to even post this...but I need God's wisdom. I know the bible says we are not to come against God's anointed and so that makes this difficult.
My boss has many times told me what a wonderful job I've done and nothing else to my face.
One day while in my office working, I could hear them slandering me behind my back. :<
I wasn't too surprised nor did I take it to personal, because they've done this to others prior.
I'm not sure why I'm sharing it here...but it just breaks my heart thinking this cycle will continue...
I want God wisdom. Do I just forgive, pray and continue turning the other check?
If God has given you insight that would be helpful, I would be appreciative.
Lord give me wisdom...

Grace, please forgive your boss and continue lifting him up in prayer.
Father I lift up this boss to You in prayer.
Forgive him for talking ill of those under his supervision.
Keep watch over the door of his lips.
Work in his life and bring him under the control of Your Holy Spirit.
In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen

I need God's help through this transition.
Yesterday, we introduced the new children’s ministers to the fifteen kids whom attended and vice versa. One blurted out;" One of our previous ministers left us as soon as they had a new baby." :< The children were anxious and were wanting questions answered about changes since the new couple is expecting their first child at any moment.
The new couple wants us to help with the transition period but details haven't been discussed. The new couple was very quickly able to see some of the challenges ahead.
I shared this dream with my husband and told him that I believe God is telling me to divorce this ministry and he whole heartily agreed.
We have gone through so many children’s ministry and the pastor has previously always resentfully depended on me to “fix things” in this area because he is too busy. Yet, even through I've worked for years with the children of the church, my pastor made it clear that I could only be a considered for a indefinite interim but not as a permanent.
I'm trying as hard as a can to keep a right heart before God but this is sooo difficult.
Father God, I ask for forgiveness to come and heal hurtful situations and I speak a blessing other our sweet pastor and the new ministers. Please, help me be strong and not be pushed back into a situation of being expected to fix everything for other people. Help our church except mistakes as part of learning instead of expecting unrealistic expectations. Help! In Jesus Name, Amen.

Father God, I thank You that You have seen and that You appreciate the investment Grace and her husband have made in the children' ministry.
Lord God, You are the shield and glorious reward of those who walk blamelessly before You.
So Lord, keep Grace and her husband steadfastly in Your holy service.
Grant that they will reap the fruits of their good service in due course.
In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Thank you so much for your kindness. I needed that! Your wisdom and prayers helped me get my eyes off of me and back where they belong...living for God!
