Please lift up the local body I attend and have attended for many years. There is an area which I agree with the Pastor and his wife but at the same time I believe they kind of go off (especially pastors wife) on a tangent in a specific area. She seems to be "right in her own eyes." I see what they are saying but at the same time i don't want them to get hard in this area because what they are talking about has been a big blessing to our family. she is judging something that she has never gone too.

On another note there are 2 families leaving our church. One I'm not surprised but I really don't think it is God's will for the other one to leave. If it is please pray they will be blessed with their decision and our church would not suffer for it or be bad mouthed. I believe the head of this family is listening to the lies of the evil one. i believe it is an attack on our body. I know because i went through the same thing but I held fast.

Anyway, as you can see our church is in dire need of prayer. Thank you for praying and God bless

Be careful with the leaders appointed over you. Unless they are asking you to do something that violates God's law, then you should follow their decisions. I don't know all the circumstances, either. Lord bring peace into this matter and let good come from it.

For the people leaving the church only God knows their hearts. If they go and it is against the will of God then I pray that He return them soon.

Lord I ask that You would take hold of this congregation and bring peace and unity where there seems to be none. Let only the things that can be shaken, be shaken!

Fáther God, please protect this church from being torn apart by divisions.

Still all these divisions and misunderstandings.

Put it in the heart of the Pastor wife, to be humble and to confine herself to the Word.

Give her and all the others in the church, teachable spirits.

In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Lord God, I pray in agreement, in the name of Jesus.

Father,
In this age of apostasy, we need truth. There is so much wrong with our churches and within the body of Christ. Bless this person for caring enough to be concerned about what is going on in the church. We as believers need to speak out or pray about what is going on in our churches. I pray for repentance, healing, and restoration in that church and may it be salt and light within that community. Give the families who are leaving guidance as to the paths they have chosen to take. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Heart, I totally agree with you when you say that there is so much going on in the church that the leaders (espeically the pastors) give a blind eye to things. My cousin and I attended the same church not too long ago. She was approached in a distasteful way by another member of the church, and this particular member was nick named the 'pimp of the church' or the 'church playa'. He helped her find a car -- everyone of this church was 'relatives' and treated everyone respectfully in that manner. Until he offered to pay for her down payment- if she repays him back. She was nervous about speaking to the pastor about this alone, and I went with her, and the pastor said 'let me see what I can do', and it was left there like that nothing came about it not even an apology. The 'pimp' of the church is one of the church's biggest 'giver', and the church was afraid of loosing that 'giving'. So my cousin left the church, and so did I . She felt 'justice' wasn't done properly and that the almight dollar bill took over the mind set of this particular leader. When the sheeps come to the shepard for leadership the shepard turned his head and gave a blind eye to the situation and lost an entire family due to his ignorances. I just pray now that when another young lady brings a situation like this to his attention he will listen, and not allow money to talk for him. Be bless family of God.
