Guillain-Barre Syndrome

hello all. I have come to this site for prayers very often (thanks for the support!), and I have prayed for others who have posted as well (even if I have not typed it, I sat and prayed for those who seemed to need prayers).I now have a prayer for someone whom I do not really know. I know of him through my mother. This is a gentle man who has been very blessed up until now. Then, one day he was diagnosed with (excuse the incorrect spelling) Guillain-Barre Syndrome. I have heard of this before...but not to the extent to which this poor man has it. He has become paralized from head to toe (within hours). He lays in the hospital bed unable to move, then suddenly he finds out he has an eye infection and they have to "sew" his eyes shut to help them heal. He now can not talk, breath, or now even see...yet his mind is fully there and he so badly is wanting to see, move and communicate with his family and friends. I can not imagine going from prosperous and healthy to not even being able to breath , move or see on your own. Please pray for his recovery. From what I have heard the doctors say that he can recover and get back to normal. Please pray for his body to return and have function again. Pray that he may see and communicate with his family. Thanks once again for your help in prayer.

Guide the doctors to do their best to help make him well and whole again.
