Confessions about thoughts and dreams (long)

Okay, I have had these thoughts for over eight months now. I have avoided the issue of infidelity because it is of no use to my life. Sadly I expect men to be the main cheaters, which is the case. But women are soon catching up. Until these last few months, cheating has never been any issue, but I am fascinated by it. Now I don't want to be. I'm not saying that I have become addicted to it, just that I wish I had that sense of right and wrong like in the past. I think it is wrong for both men and women who cheat. What is it about women who cheat? It seemed rare to me, if not crazy, especially if the man is a good one. I don't think less of them, but I think that they are idiots. On a sidenote, I think most men who cheat are dogs and simply no good. I'm sorry about what has happened to you.
It wasn't until the last few months that I think less of a woman who cheats. it is so crazy because I have become a changed person, good and bad. I have become judgemental. That is why I wonder how many partners she had, why she cheated, etc. Those things I could just let go of because that is not me, but the double standard is obviously there. In fact, I hate having these thoughts. They just won't go away. They simply won't pass. I tend to look for the most extreme thoughts, when in fact they are actually few and far between. Most men and women are even faithful, or have no more than 1-4 partners. They cheat for a number of reasons, and I suspect that they love their partners, but cheating is wrong, regardless of the reason. But I have noticed people do look down on women who are rather promiscuous. I even wonder why some people are promiscuous. There are even a number of reasons. Some people just love sex, others love the single life, some have sex addictions, some like the adventure, some are not ready for a relationship, some like the money, and there are some who are evil. They love hurting men or women. They are purely selfish. They are narcissitic and abusive. Most promiscuous are either excited by sex, or just troubled. Some have no respect for themselves. I hope that hleps answers your questions.
I have a disorder that is hard to have. But I have accepted it. These are not my sins, but theres. I don't know if they are true. I must take what is written on the interenet with a grain of salt fro I am not sure that I can say if it is true. Some men lie saying that she slept with half of the town, the navy fleet, the entire neighborhood. Some of these sources sound fictional like in a story or a talk show like Dr. Phil or Maury. Only to ruin a woman's reputation. Also some of these men also cheat. The woman could or could not have cheated, but maybe with 1-2 people, but that many? Talk shows like Dr. Phil I think should be taken wtih a grain of salt as well. I don't wish this disease on anyone. I only wish that this is a product of my imagination, but it isn't.
Could there be a spiritual message behind all of these thoughts? This is based on an email that I wrote and I want to hear your opinions. Sometimes I have dreams of death, violence, and sexual things. Are those spiritual? What do they represent?

Forgive me for not having answered sooner, as am accustomed to working more in other forums. thus, I will share my sentiments now, as believe God has shown me.
Jesus Christ shows, in the Sermon on the Mount, that sin of people, starts with lingering thoughts of evil. But, thouhts that pop into our minds, are of two types, either good- of God, or evil- of Satan.
Becuse of this, each of us, makes choices all day long, every day, which thoughts to allow to linger and which ones to push out and forget about.
Now, everyone, has some aspect, level or whatever, of an ability to become adicted to something. It can be anything from what we might percieve as the dumbest little thing, to the most dangerous, either for them or others when they are experiencing it.
A negative addiction, is an influence of Satan, on a person's eakest point for such. This keeps them teeter-tottering back and forth in repeat sin. But... know, that this does not mean the person themselves, is bad. It is the influence that must be broken, in order to work at emptying the negative thought pattern, with a poasitve thougt pattern.
Or simply- replacing activities or actions that produce such negatives, with positive Godly ones to deter the temptation to be lead back to that sin.
Some people can withstand alot, others fall to it or them easily. Because the variables are as wide, as the population of people worldwide, no one can speak ill of another, knowing they have thier own weak points or failings.
Yes, the evil "Fruit" is to be judged and prayer saught for each one who desires to change them in themselves. But, only God knows, who will eventually want to change, if not already. Thus, prayer for His touching them to want to first, then for God to deliver them.
Remember, don't think any less of another for thier sins, knowing you have short comings of your own. Its easier to want to make others look worse than us, to take the "Light of Shame" off ourselves. Yet, God declares, we are all equally born in sin, no one better or worse, thus, none are worthy of Him. Thus, it is by Grace- unmerited- unearned favor, God sacrificed Christ for all people.
You say you have a disorder and you've accepted it. then say- "these are not my sins, but thiers". Would you clarify what you mean better by that statement?
As for the info you spoke of concerning the woman's reputation, its gossip until proven beyond doubt and you don't listen to it or pay attention to it.
Here is Truth- People can talk and say all they want, it won't mean a thing when what God and you know about yourself is whats important.
People can gossip, falsely judge, criticize, put down, physically show evil actions, evil speech, etc. But, all things hidden shall be publiclly known on God's Day of judgement for all people. And we each will have to stand before God and explain ourselves to Him when its our turn to face Him.
Yes, those dreams are spiritual by the "root" influence leading you to experience them. Notice my user name here. It came as a result of my past military experience as well as from ministry aspects. The goodly based, yet sometimes quite violent dreams I have off and on, I know are from God, in rememberance of His guidance of me to keep lessons learned, in the forefront.
This helps me to keep my Testimony of God's Grace for me always fresh, for sharing with others as He opens the oportunity.

You have helped me greatly as I have had a terrible dream about having terrible thoughts and not being able to deal with them. I felt that there could have been a bad omen there. It was rather scary and it seemed too real. I have made a mistake and looked up something this morning. Something pops up in my head and I look for it and do research on it. I cannot say whether or not it is true. I personally believe that it is spiritual as I became closer to God as a result. I should not be one to pass judgement as I have done things that I am not proud of. I have been given advice to take what I read with a grain of salt and to take it as fiction unless there is something to back it up. To me, it is just conjecture. I will never meet these people and I will never know if it true. To me, it might as well be fiction. But I have not committed these sins, but it is true that I don't know if they have committed those sins either. People can write anything on the internet.

As a little kid, I had a couple re-occuring dreams that used to terrify me. Strangely enough, one came true later in high school, the other during the time my mother was dieing. But, So, reoccuring told me they man't something, but until the identical events happened, did I know what they mean't.
God's Word shows, because He created the Heaven first in "creation order", all things then, originate in the spiritual, shows itself in the physical, but will eventually go back to the spiritual again.
Well, God tells us to "test the spirit" of things. Check it against His Word and leading of the Holy Spirit. All 3, God's Word, Christ and Holy Spirit, confirm and reconfirm each of the others. Therefore, by hat is spoken, you can use God's Word as a written text to know if what spoken is true and of God or not.
I would take such info as neutral, neither accepting or rejecting, unless God has shown me a Truth to back up or reject it.
Well, as for sins, we've all committed some sins, but only God knows for sure what all ones each have, as according to His- "all knowing" ability, which can enlighten Him to understandings you and I will never comprehend.

Thank you. It is really stuff about someone who have slept around and such. Such stuff I know cannot be backed up as good and holy and righteous. I am not sure if God would tell me if that is true or not as His Word speaks out against gossip. At least that is what His word says. Because of these thoughts, sometimes I feel like I have a demon that just won't leave my mind. Maybe it could be the enemy messing with my mind or it maybe is just a condition. Medication, therapy, prayer, meditation, music, a healthier diet, exercise, and God have all been beneficial. I have had some crazy dreams. Can the enemy influence dreams when one is asleep? I don't mean visions, but dreams?

Yes, just as God, by the Holy Spirit, prompts us thru thoughts, dreams, visions and more, so too can Satan. And the fact is, when recieve these, it is best to be reading God's Word and praying for God to show if this is from Him or not.
God will either guide you thru His Word to show you the Truth, or open up understanding in some other way, that will be inline with His Word.
As for wether God would show you about gossip if true or not, I would not dwell on this. For just as God declares not to pay attention to hearing of false christs, prophets, etc showing up, we are not to do this with gossip either. So, my suggestion is, let it go and leave it to God.
Yes, you may have a demon strongly influencing you this way thru a weak means you may have. Be in prayer to God for removal of this demon and thier temptations, and for a hedge of protection around you from them.

We pray for heart, that you drive off the demonic influence and remove the negative thoughts from them. We pray a hedge of protection around them from demons and thier attacks, that you may replentish thier void with positive thoughts of good report. In Jesus Name- Amen!!
