So Many Miracles

Thank you Lord for answering my prayers. You NEVER fail me in times of need. I have been so troubled over my son, Julian. When he went to jail again in May there was nothing I could do but turn the whole situation over to You. You sent me peace, and best of all, Julian came out of jail with a clear sense of direction, a plan of action and a rosary that he had learned how to pray! I have been trying to teach Julian to have absolute faith in you. Well, the perfect lesson came aliong. While Julian was in jail his car was stolen. Without his car he would have a difficult time getting to work, and now he has almost $4,000 in court fines and restitutions to pay, or he goes to prison for 2 years. And his car was stolen from El Paso, TX, where the odds of getting a stolen car back are pretty small, given the proximity to the border of Mexico. Julian was in a state of panic. So again I reminded him, when things get to be too much for you to handle, turn the problem of to God and have faith that your prayer will be answered. So Julian and I prayed together. The next day we were in El Paso and drove right by his car. It was parked in a pay lot next to the plasma center. We called the police. They told him unless he could produce some paperwork that he had bought the car they could do nothing. Well the friend of Julian's who stole the car had stolen all the paperwork, title, etc. before Julian had a chance to even register the car. The police talked to this "friend" who lied and said the car was his. But he could produce no paperwork either. Now Julian has a temper and gets into fights easily. He is diagnosed with oppositional defiant disorder. It was very hard for him to walk away right then from his car and the guy who had stolen it. But he said he wanted to try doing it the right way instead of landing himself back in jail for assault. We went home and prayed some more. I reminded Julian again that our Father would not give us something bad, any more than I would give him spoiled food when he said he was hungry. And then I said to him when he gets his car back to remember to thank Our Father.
The car lot where he bought the car replaced the bill of sale and the receipt. We prayed some more. The next time we were in El Paso we drove past the plasma center. The guy who had stolen his car was there again, donating plasma. The police were called again. They sent 3 auto theft detectives and a patrol car. Julian got his car back on the spot. No impound fees, no problems. Needless to say he has much more faith in the power of prayer.
And as if this were not enough, I have severe rheumatoid arthritis and most days cannot stand or walk more than a few minutes. My feet and legs have been so swelled up for so many years I have not been able to flex my feet up or down. The other day I woke up and felt a little strange. My feet were tingling like pins were sticking in them. That is when I noticed ALL THE SWELLING WAS GONE!! That day I was able to take a bus into Juarez, do my shopping by myself and stand long enough to do the laundry. Not only that but my washing machine which needs a new transmission, suddenly started working on every cycle but one, eliminating a $65 repair bill.
And this may seem like a small thank you, but my birthday came and normally no one remembers. This year my husband gave me a bottle of wonderful perfume, and my son was NOT IN JAIL. In the time Julian has been gone he learned how to cook and he cooked me dinner!
So thank you thank you thank you. It has been hard moving to Mexico but I know I am not alone. Thank you Lord most of all for your Love, without it I could not survive.
PS: sorry for the long post!!
