Brother need strength

My older brother is a freshman in college this year. He is getting A's in all of his classes, except for math. My brother is very smart and can tell you anything that you want to know, if he has learned it in one of his classes of course. But when it comes to math, he is still smart, it is just harder for him than other things. In his math class at college he is not allowed to use a calculator. On his last test he just went completly blank and couldn't remember how to divide. He failed that test. He has a math tutor that he is going to, but today his tutor told him he was too stupid to be in college and now the tutor won't tutor him anymore. I talked to him on the phone this afternoon and he is really discouraged. Plus he isn't getting any sleep at night because his roommate leaves the TV on all night. Please pray for God to give him peace and wisdom. Thank you all so much.

I lift this Brother up to you
God bless him with someone to be his friend and encourager
Keep his memory to recall all that he needs to remember
Give him the words to talk with his instructor
regarding his freezing up on the test to see if he can have
a do over test.
We come against all hurtful words and pray
he not receive them into his spirit

Get him involved in a christian campus group
where he might have the encouragement
and even tutoring
that he needs

What a horrible thing for that tutor to do/say! He needs to get a whoooole lot smarter, in the most important place, the heart.
It sounds like you are a wonderful sister and also like your brother is having test anxiety when it comes to math. I wonder why he can't use a calculator? I wonder if maybe he can't get onto some other educational track where math is minimalized. It's been a long time, don't know about now, but all I had to take to get a masters in speech pathology was one math course, pass or fail, in statistics, and I got to use a calculator. This was good, because I have also had difficulties with math.
Anyway, regardless of all that I am going to pray that your brother get another tutor, a wonderful and supportive one, that he get over his test anxiety and get peace from YHWH, and that he get some kind of course in math that he can get through just fine.
