Lord,
I pray for the nation of Jamaica tonight. I pray that you heal those who have HIV and AIDS. There are many children in peril. Many are starving and living in dire poverty. May we in the US be thankful for the blessings we have but be mindful of those who are less fortunate than we are here and abroad. May we not hesitate to pray, provide comfort, and other means to those who are in need. May we as the Church show compassion to those in this nation. May you show yourself mightily in this nation and may those in this nation not reject you. May those who are called not lose heart and may the gospel be preached speedily in that nation and surrounding nations. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Thank you for the summons to join in prayer -- to ...agree on earth as touching.... problems in Jamaica. Most surely at this time we Christians should be continuing instant in prayer (Romans 12:12) and be so very thankful that ...it is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. (Romans 8:34) Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. (Romans 8:26 KJV)
