That the crack in my windshield can be fixed

Hello Everyone. I discovered a crack in the windshield of my 2006 Toyota Corolla over the weekend. I suspect the storm we had on Friday evening smacked a pebble against the windsheild based on the evidence. My car is still new with only 13,500 miles on it. Having to have it replaced would be more than I can bear. The car would never be the same if I had it replaced, plus I have a safety inspection sticker and local car tax decal since my car is registered in the State of Virginia as well as an EZ-Pass mechanism strategically placed next to the rear view mirror. I have found a special auto glass place that specializes in repairing cracks up to 12 inches and the crack I believe is only 8 inches. Please pray that I am able to get my car into the glass repair shop and have the crack in my windshield fixed and that it would not require replacing. I have been desperately begging God for mercy on my car. I believe that God protected it form being any worse so that it can be repaired. Please pray that the glass place is most successful in fixing it. God Bless You All!

I ask that the garage you led her to by Your Spirit, will be able to cheaply replace or professionally repair her wind shied.

Your insurance should cover the cost of replacing the windshield. A glass shop will be able to move those stickers/decals to the new windshield. Don't wait until the weather gets too cold to have it done, the cold will make the crack worse.

Hello Everyone! Thank you all for your prayers. I have good insurance, but if I have to have it replaced unless Toyota replaces it with an authentic Toyota pane (with the the dotted tint), the car will not be the same. I have heard that when repairs can be done, some insurance companies don't charge you. I don't know what my insurance company would do in my case. I.e. if they charge a $100 deductible and it costs only $70 to fix it, then I would rather not report it to my insurance company. I don't think they would cover a $1,400 geniune Toyota windshield, which is what I would need if a replacement was deemed necessary. Insurance companies tend to only cover aftermarket windows. My car would not be the same with an aftermarket windshield. They recommend not replacing the windsheild if at all possible, or there could be wind leaks and such. I don't mean to be sentimental about my car, but a windshield is a big deal and I would feel very uncomfortable with an aftermaket windshield put in place. God understands what I mean.

I tried contacting a glass company that is supposed to specialize in glass repair with locations across the country. The contact information for the one in Faquier County Virginia, which is local to where I live only had the name of a contact person and I got their voicemail. He still has not called me. Please pray that I can get my car's windshield repaired this Friday. God Bless You All!

Hello everyone. I found another glass place since the one that could do repairs was out of business. They specialize in wholesale Toyota glass panes.
The nice fellow on the phone told me that based on the length of my crack, that I would have to have my windsheild replaced and that it would only be $300. It would still have the black dotted tint and he told me of a special procedure that they use to transfer the stickers and such.

I had made an appointment for them to come over today and replace my windsheild, but it is now raining for the rest of the week. I will now have to wait until Monday.

Please pray that God sends his angels to protect my windshield and car from further damage and that he annoints the crack with the blood of Jesus to prevent it from spreading in the meantime until I am able to get it replaced. Please pray that I do get my windshield replaced before it's too late. God Bless You All!

Hello Everyone. God finally shooed the rains away just in time for my windshield to be replaced Saturday morning! The sun even came out as they were replacing it! Even though the window has blue tint in it, which my other window did not have, I am relieved now that I have a new windshield with all of my stickers transferred that is otherwise like the other windshield in design and markings.
