Need Prayer

Please prayer for my friend Drew. He had a bad experience of the church as a child and became very negative about Christians and searched to find all the negative aspects of Chritianity eg the religious wars, witch hunts etc. Just recently he has started to ask me questions about Christianity and in one week two unralated people witnessed to him. I feel that God is calling to him and he is shutting him out. He has had a hard life and is confused he needs God in his life as he is the only solution to his hurt. Thankyou.

Dear Father, we ask that Drew would be saved and able to forgive those who have hurt him. Open his eyes and heart to the gospel. Jesus bring him peace and healing when he calls upon you, heal the hurts and brokeness, let your will be done, in your name and to your glory, amen.
I've been hurt in church too. And I'm sure that I have hurt others. Christians aren't perfect, but forgiven (when we ask for forgiveness).
Matthew 18:21-22 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother SIN against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
Colossians 3:13 Forbearing one another, and FORGIVING one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
According to these verses, christians make mistakes, but we are to forgive them.
Matthew 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
