Focus on the Victory not the Battle

I just want to give eveyone a little message of hope and encouragement today. No matter what you are facing, no matter what you are battling in your life, no matter what your circumstances may look like . . . YOU WILL HAVE THE VICTORY IF YOUR FAITH IS IN JESUS CHRIST!
Each person who reads these words today is battling something in their life. Some are fighting with finances, others with health problems, others with marital issues, others with problems with your children, still others are dealing with addiction problems and on. My message for you today is that NO MATTER what your battle is today, God can be with you, at your side, helping you to fight your battles.
Too often in life our tendency is too put all our focus on the battle and not the victory. Too often we look only at the circumstances and not the one who promised us victory over our circumstances. Several of the disciples of Jesus were in a boat one day when a great storm came upon them. As the winds began to blow, the rain began to fall, the sky darkened, ALL they could see was the storm. They became so consumed with their circumstances, that they woke up Jesus who was sleeping in the boat, and in their fear, asked Him to help them. Seeing their fear, Jesus in an act of compassion simply made the storm go away.
KNOW THIS, THE SAME JESUS WHO MADE THE STORM GO AWAY FOR HIS DISCIPLES, IS THE SAME JESUS WHO CAN CALM THE STORM IN YOUR LIFE!!!
Jesus is saying to you today, exactly what He said to His disciples those many years ago. Why do you fear? You see, when you are with Jesus, when you keep your focus on Him, you don't have to fear no matter how bad the storm may look.
JESUS WILL ALWAYS HAVE THE FINAL WORD!!!
Today, no matter what the circumstances you may be facing, no matter what the obstacles in your way, despite whatever man may be saying, you can place all your hope and trust and faith in Jesus. He has the power to change your circumstances! He may not immediately remove a trial you are going through, but He can give you the abilities to learn and grow from it and cope with it. He can walk with you every step of the way from out of the valley of fear, despair and uncertainity, to hope and greater faith and trust in Him. Always know that whatever it is you are facing, Jesus can lead you to an ultimate victory!
"Fear not , little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." Luke 12:32

When faced with overwhelming, sudden life changes please give me and all of us the strength to look up to You and the faith to know that victory is assuredly the portion of those who trust in You. Amen
