Speaking in Tongues- sort of.

A new couple has started to come to our church. They were missionaries in Mexico for a few years and have come to this area to help care for their grandchildren while their son is on deployment to Iraq.
One niht during service they gave incredible testimony about some of their experiences in Mexico. One part just lifted my heart and made it leap with joy.
They told of a revival service, where there was a young man (about 12 to 15) who was deaf. He was sitting at the foot of the stage during the light show, watching intently and reading lips and really trying to learn about Jesus. One of the coordinators approached our missionaries and asked about a woman who was working with them who knew sign language named Laura. The coordinator hoped that she could help this young man. Laura explained that she knew American sign language and did not speak Spanish. The coordinator urged her to try, as this young man had attended every night of the revival.
Well, Laure did not speak Spanish, but GOD does!! She signed as she knew how and that young man understood!!!
He came to know Jesus Christ and made a profession of faith. Then the next night he returned and brought his mother with him!! He began to teach his mother about the love and grace of Jesus. I don't know if the mother had made a profession of faith, but she was interested and trying to learn more.
