Dear family of God,

This morning I was watching the news and the Governor of Ark, (Huckleberry ?) and was speaking about how he has seen views from both sides the political side and the religious side. He has been the governor of Ark, for over 10 years. Now my question is to everyone --- can a minister be a president without being tarnished by all the under handed things that goes on in the white house? Some people think a minister can be president for he has seen and helped the poor and homeless first hand. Some people think there is so much back door business going on in and around the White house that eventually he would become greedy and tanted. What do you think?

Be bless everyone.

I don't think it would matter who got to be President, there will always be things going on in the backround. Good reports and "tarnishing" come with that territory. There will be supporters, discentors and those just spreading gossip, good or bad

I would suggest, its not so much a question of wether a Minister could be President, as much as wether they have the God given understanding and widom of the operating of our Government for that position- (calling), enough to fulfill the position for knowing whats best for our Country.

A Minister may understand some aspects as you mentioned, but what about the rest of the people, buisnesses, Country trade situations and other political wisdom needed to understand more of the whole picture?

Thats one of the reasons its Governors of States, leaders of bigger buisnesses etc who are the ones that try for the Presidency. They have more working knowledge of how Government works and interactions with the public served and more direct dealings with the Federal Government. (Plus the monetary backing needed).

Plus, within each party- Republican and Democrat, the runners up need to work for the major endorsement of thier party, otherwise they become an independant which has been proven by statistics, its harder for them to get the backing or percentage of voters, to be worthwhile running.

But, in essence, there is nothing I know of, unless there is a "Law" I am unaware of that prohibits a certified or licensed Minister from running for President.

God Bless!!

EXCELLENT RESPONSE CC !!!!

I feel the same way. I just wanted to pose the same question as they did this morning on tv to this minister, whom by the way is already a Governor of Ark, for about 10 years + now. I thought it was a little odd to say the least to ask whether or not a minister can be a president. This same minister has been the governor of Ark, and dealt with pro-choice, poor, education and the likes with the title of Governorship. And I personally think if he can govern a state and do excellent with his title then I don't see why he shouldn't be able to be a president or run for president. My grandmother used to say when I was younger --' It takes a whole lot of different people, to make this world go round'.

Be bless CC and thanks for the comment.

Just goes to show, if God puts that call on a Minister, God will see it succeed. And apparently this Minister has been very well equiped by God for at least Governorship for as long as you've claimed he has been one.

As such, if God were to put the "Call" on this Minister to run for President, this would also succeed and he would be well prepared by God for such a position.

God Bless!!
