Hello All,
A friend of mine refered me to this board because of all the things going on in our lives. One year ago in November I married the man of my dreams. He is still the man of my dreams but we are struggling. In the last year we have ministered in 4 countries and lived in 2 different countries for extended amounts of time. We are not living in Western Europe and ministering in Eastern Europe, Russia, and Pakistan to name a few places. Although we know we are where we should be, we are VERY stressed. My husband was diagnosised with diabetes earlier this year and seems to be loosing his eyesight. I did not know how stressed he was about this until the other day he broke down in tears. He has never done this. The stress of the thought of going blind is preventing him from really hearing God. I am having my own health problems and it seems that all of this is distractions to keep us from doing what God has had us do for some time, plant house churches! We are both at the breaking point and really have no one we can go to for prayer. Because the people we know here regard my husband as an apostle they say things like "well why should we pray for you? shouldnt you be able to heal yourself"? It's a really tough situation and we really need prayer back up. I pray that you will hear my heart and just pray for us as the lord leads.

Yes, in my years of Ministry, people have asked me that also. But, God would enlighten them by Pauls' telling those they ministered to, to keep the Apostles in thier prayers too.
All God's Children are to be upheld in prayers, regardless of position God has Blessed them with. And no, the Apostles never healed themselves, it was prayers of others to God which healed the Apostles, delivered them from prison and more as can be witnessed in the Scriptures.
I've told people over and over, a Minister of God is no different than a Deacon, layman, etc, we are all equally born in sin, have weaknesses and make mistakes. Its God, not people, who is to hold Ministers to a higher level of responcibility. And its each Child of God's responcibility, when appointed to a position in the "Body of Christ", to uphold the best witness they can for that which God called of them.
Lord-
We pray for this Evangelistic couple you have called, to bring peace and comfort to them and healing and restoration from thier afflictions. We pray Lord, as according to your Will, they be strengthened and prepared as you know best for what you have planned for thier Ministry and witness to others. In Jesus Name- Amen!!

Thanks Christian Commando,
We know that we can not do what God has called us to do without lots of prayer. It seems to get harder all the time. It's sad but true that it is not hard for someone from another country to become a celebraty in their host country. Well we will not be made celebs! We just want to serve Jesus by serving the people here and we need prayer back up to it. Thanks for praying!!

Hehe, well, many people miss the fact, prayer life is part of each child of God's growth in thier relationship with God. Part of learning to lean on Him more for guidance, help with situations, supplications for others needs etc.
The Father commands us to pray, plus Christ gave us the "Lord's Prayer" as a foundation to start with.
And thats why prayer is that much more important as we grow in God, for the closer relationship we have with Him, the harder Satan attacks to destroy that, plus the witness we demonstrate for God. God declares, 1 in prayer is as 1,000, but two in prayer is as 10.000, which is why He declares where two or more are gathered in His Name, He will be there in thier midst.
God Bless your family and Ministry God has you doing for Him!!
