I am so sick of God not listening, if He answered 1 prayer I imight drop over dead from the shock.
Do you think God has stopped answering prayer and turned His back on the World because He is done with us?? Take a look around, it's almost the end, this World is a mess and most people only care about themselves and their conceided little world

It is MAN who has turned their back on God; that's why the world is in such a mess. The Word lays out God's plan for humanity, and if man would live by it this world would not be a messed up place. Is is man who treats his fellow mean poorly. Don't blame God for what man has done. Man has gone his own way and done all sorts of evil. That is why God repented of making man in the first place, when he sent the flood. God gave us free will, because He doesn't want robots to follow Him. Therefore, man is free to choose to do evil as well. Is it God's fault Hitler chose to kill all those Jews? Of course not! Is it God's fault man enslaves his fellow man (still going on today, though we think slavery is over)? Of course not! Is it God's fault man chooses to do any of the wicked and evil things that causes the earth to be in such a mess? I can't understand why you are blaming God for man's bad choices. Randy Stonehill has a song that says we shake our fists at the sky because we see all the starving children in poor countries. Then, he comes to the realization HE is responsible to feed those children. His lack of caring is not God's fault. It's his own. WE are God's feet and hands extended. I am sorry you have not met many (or any) who are God's feet and hands extended. Perhpas if you had seen the love of God in action through some people, you would not be thinking this. The world IS a mess. But it's US who makes it a better place; God put this responsiblity with us. The very reason we pray is so God will change people, thus making the world a better place, as they make the right choices in life. Rather than blaming God for what's wrong, realize that he wants YOU to be part of the solution. See what you can do for others, not what others can do for you. Don't ask what God can do for You; ask what YOU can do for God.
What can I do for You, my Lord?
I want You to know that I am Yours
It's not a question of what I can do for You
But what can I do for You, my Lord?

savesomesorrow-
Well, if take a good look around at the battles Christians face today of Satan trying to remove God from so many aspects of our lives, its a clear sign God is still working in our lives and this world.
As for God not answering prayers, I ask that you look down thru the board at prayers answered. But, yo'll notice something thru seeing that. God has not answeed prayers always right away.
God is not slack in answering prayers nor has He ignored petitions lifted up before Him which are brought before Him correctly. God declares He has a time and purpose for all things. So, not all petitions are answered imediately, but when it will be in those people's best interest for an answer.
God declares He will never leave us or forsake us. That means, so long as we lift up petitions that are inline with His Will, we will see productive answers. If asked "amiss", the answer will be no, or nothing happens.
Sometimes people can be selfish or self rightceous in seeking petitions, wanting an answer as they believe it should be or out of selfish want. But, if the need is pertinant, God will answer thier prayers, but as He knows best for us, but different than we asked for.
You know, God also teaches us patience, to wait upon His time and purpose- "Count it all joy when ye fall unto diverse temptations, that the trying of our faith worketh patience, but let patience have her perfect work, that ye be found perfect and entire, wanting nothing."
How else will we learn to lean on God more, if our faith, thru the patience to wait for God's timing or purpose to help us is never stretched, strengthened and built up for God? There would be no reason to grow past "milk drinkers in God" if God did not help us grow closer to Him as meat eaters in Christ.
No, God is not done with us nor turned His back on us. He sent Jesus Christ to die for all peoples sins and the world's sins on the cross and in Hell, He would not do all that, then leave us to ourselves.
Yes, the "signs of the times" do show we are very near Christ's return. So, instead of being down about it, look up to Heaven, thanking and praising God an end to this sin filled world and life will soon be over forever.
God and Christ both foretold evil will wax worse thru the "Last Days", so we can expect that. But it should excite us, knowing we are even closer as time goes on, to Jesus' return.
Lord-
We pray that you would show, savesomesorrow, that your Will, your Promises, your prohecies have all come true given up to this time in our existance, and that prayers are answered and miracles and more are evident still, in this world, to know you are always with us, your children, dwelling within us, to guide us as we allow the Holy Spirit to. Uplift thier spirit with joy and peace, knowing we can be excited and ever watchful for Christ's return, knowing the signs prove He is so close to coming for us. In Jesus Name- Amen!!
