Richard Dawkins, athiest friends

It has struck my heart lately very suddenly that athiests are being attacked so viciously, and though christianity needs to be defended, we should be praying so much more for those hostile to the faith. We should be praying for our enemies just as Jesus said and love them as we love ourselves. We as a Christian community need to pray for people like Richard Dawkins. We were no different from him before we came to know Christ and he deserves the mercy and grace of Christ just as much as we received it. Just as well, I have a couple of athiest friends who rip on God and the idea of God and Christians as well, and it really disturbs me and saddens me. I continue to hope and pray for their salvation, that Christ would make himself known to them and make their dead bones live. I truly believe in the power of prayer and the awesome wonders and changes it can bring about. I hope you share that faith and hope in prayer with me. Yes, part of Christ's and God's commands to us for seeking Salvation for others in the "Great Commission", is partly in sharing testimony of what God has done for us, shaing the Gospel of Christ and praying for lost souls as well to be found and saved thru Salvation.
Athiests, agnostics and all others who've not surrendered thier lives to God and saught Salvation are- unbelievers. Hence, the reason for this particular forum in the "Prayer Room".
Lord-
We pray for these people who are lost to you. That you might bring a way of enlightening them by the Holy Spirit to understand your Truth and realize thier need for you in thier life and Christ as thier Lord and Savior. In Jesus Name- Amen!!
