Protection for Shane in Iraq

Prayer Warriors,
I ask that you agree with me in prayer for the protection and blessings not only for my son Shane, but for all our troops serving in harms way.




Loving Jesus,
I come to you on bended knees. I pray for your protection for my son Shane,
as he begins his tour of duty in Iraq. Lord, give Shane the strength, courage, and wisdom to perform his duties. Put you angels in charge over him, and put a hedge of protection around him. Heavenly Father, I ask for this protection not only for Shane, but for all our brave soldiers, who are serving in harms way, giving to this country so unselfishly. In Jesus most Holy name. Amen, and Amen.

I agree with mothers prayer, and also ask that you would draw Shane closer to you during his time of service. Let him be a light in this dark place. Give him favor with others and bring others who lift his spirit in times of need. You give valor and character to people...comfort, wisdom and strength... to you Lord be the glory! Amen.

My nephew wants to join the Marines, and I am thinking of starting a church prayer group to pray for our soldiers. Having a family member in the armed forces makes us look at this so differently!

Dear Lord, please keep Shane and all soldiers SAFE. I pray for You to send angels to the allied forces in Iraq and other countries. Surround and protect them by angels. Bring them safely home. Draw all soliders to You in salvation or closer to You if already saved. I pray that You will surround Shane by angels, Your blood, Your hedge of proteciton. Let Your Holy Spirit fire burn around him in protection, always. I ask, Lord, that You would draw him near to You, always closer to you. Let him come home with a testimony of how You held him close in proteciton and how You held him close in love. Let his relationship with You be ever strengthened to be a beautiful testimony to all he meets and knows in his life time. I ask and pray, in Jesus Name, amen.

Yes Lord Jesus, please bless and protect Shane and keep him and all the others soldiers serving in Iraq from all harm.
