Just a quick note to say hello. I hope that Thanksgiving and Christmas went well for all. My divorce was finalized last week. Going through the healing process now. Making plans for the upcoming year.

I pray God's blessings and favor over your lives, His protection and glory be with you now and in the new year.

I pray that you all would live the life that Jesus died to give you.

In Jesus name, I pray.

Nina, grace and peace be with you also, and favor!

Lord, with tears in my eyes I am gracious heavenly Father, for the kind people here. I did not realize how much I missed them. Thank You, Lord, for bringing men and women of honor and integrity into my life. Lord I pray the blessing of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob over each and every life here. I pray that You would bless those that have blessed me, and continue to bless those who bless them and take care of those that curse them. Lord, I pray Your divine protection over their lives. I pray that You would this day, right now as I am typing open a window in heaven over each and every life here represented on this board, and that You would daily shower them with Your love, Your protection Your favor, Your grace and Your prosperity.

May everything they touch prosper for Your kindgdom, Your glory and Your honor. Father bless Pastor Jerry and a big hug for him as well for starting this prayer board!! Amen!

Welcome Bruce
I have gone thru a divorce myself and many a christians pointed their bony
finger at me to marry but did not lift a finger to help when the waters were troubled. I fortunately I am over that praise be to God .
I do look to the friut of a person and whether they recieve or even acknowledge Gods word when posted here for example the prophetic word that will give them life and tear down strongholds of the enemy.
I have been a christian for years but thank God I eventually got saved as well. I hope to some day be filled with his Holy spirit as the true Apostles were with the evidence of speaking in tongues and the prophetic.
Not to say I haven't prophesized from God and also more accurate then the so called circuit but even as Smith Wigglesworth ask to be realy filled not like all these dead churches.
God bless

Dear eagle4him,

Just wanted to encourage you with the words from a beautiful song by Paul Simon (bet you know it!). I hope it ministers hope to you!

My traveling companion is nine years old
And he’s the child of my first marriage
But I have reason to believe
We both will be received in Graceland

(…And now I'm bouncing into Graceland…)

I’ve been obliged to defend
Every love, every ending
But maybe there’s no obligation now
And I have reason to believe
We all will be received in Graceland

About three of four years ago, a friend of mine shared with me a testimony that had just been told to her by a very happy man!

He had been married many years ago. His then-wife had no computer expertise, so he had his best friend tutor her on the computer…you see where this is going…and his wife and his best friend had an affair…

So he was devastated of course. He had a conventional job – businessman or professional or something. But he was staring his life over…

God showed him what He wanted him to do. God showed him that he wanted him to be a clown on the streets of a poor Central American country. That’s right, a clown…to minister on the streets to street children, to smile at them and hug them and play with them and laugh with them…to nurture them and to show them that they are WORTHY of the love and attention of a Father…

So he did just that. He lived off his savings, investments, whatever.

And before long he met a Spirit-filled, God-fearing, reportedly gorgeously-beautiful Latin American woman, 40 years old…and a virgin to boot! Uh-huh!

So they got married! And she continued to work at her job to bring in the money, and he continued to minister as a clown to street children!

What a wonderful true story!

I was actually going to quote from Isaiah 43. BUT INSTEAD I feel I need to share with you what I’ve just read now for the first time in Isaiah 48.

3a I have declared from the beginning the former things [which happened in times past to Israel]…
6b …I show you specified new things from this time forth, even hidden things [kept in reserve] which you have not known.
7a They are created now and not long ago; and before today you have never heard of them…
-- Isaiah 48:3a, 6b, 7a -- Amplified Bible

EVERYTHING that God creates is 100% GOOD. And He adds no sorrow to it to His blessings (see Proverbs 10:22). Whether He created it from the beginning of time, or whether He created it 10 years ago, last year, or yesterday afternoon, it is GOOD, VERY GOOD!!! And nonetheless built on the Rock, the Sure Foundation that is Jesus Christ (it doesn’t get any surer than HIM!)

6 That they may know from the east and the rising if the sun and the west and setting of the sun that there is no God besides Me. I am the LORD and no one else [is He].
7 I form the light and create darkness, I make peace [national well-being] and create [physical, (not moral)] evil (calamity). I am the LORD, who does all these things.
8 Let fall in showers, you heavens, from above, and let the skies rain down righteousness [the pure, spiritual, heaven-born possibilities that have their foundation in the holy being of God; let the earth open, and let them [skies and earth] sprout forth salvation, and let righteousness germinate and spring up [as plants do] together; I the LORD have created it. -- Isaiah 45:6-8 -- Amplified Bible

More from Isaiah 48:

13a Yes, my hand has laid the foundation of the earth, and My right hand has spread out the heavens,
17 Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy one of Israel, I am the LORD your God Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you in the way you should go...

So if God says, Keep that wedding ring on, then you do that!

But if He shows you to shut it down, then you need to do that. It’s a useless endeavor to keep at it if the only reason is to placate those who are looking on. (Like my Uncle said, if you’re going to amputate your leg, you might as well just chop it off and get it done, rather than slowly sawing it off).

There is no one more aware than the LORD that we live in an imperfect world. He is more than able to create and engineer something wonderful and new.

I encourage you to also read the whole chapter of Isaiah 43, and especially 43:15-21.

And remember,

Poor boys and girls and families
And we are going to Graceland…

So go on bouncing into Graceland!
