Thank you God for protecting my Family

On Dec.17th I dropped my son off at school as usual and went to work in the next county. He had half day classes and my parents picked him up for me. They had a delivery to do and went to a small town about 20 miles away. After they got done they decided to go to Taco Bell and get lunch. On the way a dump truck traveling at excessive speed according to the police report ran off the edge of the road. The driver then overrcorrected and this is when my parents got into view of what was happening. My dad says the truck was bouncing and he slowed down as the truck turned over on its passenger side dad hit the brakes only two lanes and on dad's side was a line of trees on the trucks side an imbankment and train tracks. The dump truck was on its passenger side sliding on the gravel he had been carrying. Dad was stopped with no were to go. My son buckled in between his grandparents and no one else had on seat belts not required in a truck and they didn't work. The dump truck made impact in his cab saving my parents and sons life. According to the fireman who wrked the accident it should have been 4 deaths the newspaper would report that day but praise God I didn't have to bury my parents and son. I pray for the family of the truck driver he didn't fair as well and lost his life. I got the call not knowing how bad the accident was and thought I would go home to wait for them all to get home. I thought it was a fender bender from what my husband had said on the phone. But something said turn that car around and meet them at the hospital. When I arrived I looked for daddy's truck then called his cell phone after I parked. That is when I was told how bad it was and that they were in the ER. I didn't know anything but that the truck was totalled and all three were waiting to be seen at that point. I then got to go in to mom's room she was strapped to a board and her neck was in a brace with dried blood on her forehead and her head was a big goose egg. I couldn't cry and let mom see me so I called on Jesus to help me so she would stay calm. I spent the rest of the night running between the three rooms. Daddy had only hurt his left arm. My son had his hip hurt. We went to x-ray with all three of them. Mom had to be sent back because the doctor didn't xray her ribs or head. She had hit the windshield. Daddy had an airbag on his side and was pretty ok. Not one bone was broken and not one stitch was had. Now, mom was in pretty bad shape even though no bones or stitches where needed. She is still in pain in her chest and both feet and her face is really badly bruised. My son had to go for a CAT scan of his hip but it wasn't fractured like the doctor first thought. My dad his shoulder has a big bump on it now and I want my parents to be rechecked but my son was given a clean bill yesterday by our doctor. I just wanted to praise God for letting me spend one more Christmas with my family and hopefully many more. I will post photos in the gallery too big for file size must reduce them. I want to share what God has done for our family.

We thank you and praise you for protecting these 3 with such minor injuries thru what could've easily been death for them. Thank you Lord for being so loving and compassionate towards us knowing we are not worthy, yet your unmerited favor has given us hope, a chance and your Love to keep us as witnesses for you thru such mirales as this. In Jesus Name- Amen!!

Update:
Mom, Dad, and K.C. all ended up having to go to the chiropractor but K.C. has been released and is back to normal.
Mom had a broken foot but they didn't find it until 2 weeks later. It is well now though. She has back problems and is still seeing the chiropractor 3 times a week but he says that it should be soon that he is done with her.
Dad has been going to the chiropractor also and is still being seen. They found out he has an herna due to the wreck and will need surgery. But the praise is still the same their all here with a little more pain that we thought at first but still praise God they are here and the miracle is still the same. Bobbie
