While we are making plans for the upcoming year, let us not forget our Christian brothers and sisters around the world that are suffering persecution at the hands of governments, radical military or judicial groups, police and the like. The two countries most likely to persecute Christians are North Korea and Saudi Arabia because Christianity is illegal in these countries. There are other countries in which Christians are not offered the same protection under the laws, and endure hardships as well.
Lord, merciful Father deliver Your people this year from the hands of their enemies. Give them this day their daily bread, and keep them safe during these difficult times. Pour out Your Spirit on these nations, Lord, and bring many souls into Your Kingdom. Lord make a way for Your people, where there seems to be no way. In Jesus name we pray.

I pray in agreement with this prayer.
Lord, I pray a special prayer today for our christian brother and sister who face persercution for their belief in you, the one True God, and the truth of your word. Lord, grant your mercy to be poured out on them, and protect them from those that wish them harm, so that you Lord may be glorified. Lord, bless all that call on your holy name. Amen.

I was in Israel in 99. Going thru the christian section of old jeruslem, I met the most interesting people, christians who happen to be palestinians. At that time 84% of palestininans were Christian (on the west bank). Today that number has dropped to 40%, that breaks my heart. Most christians had learned to dislike them because they were the enemies of the jews. Now less than half are born again believers. So as you pray remember those who have walked away or still standing strong who are palinstinians. They too are our brothers ans sisters in the Lord.
