My heart is broken! Dear Lord, I bow in repentance for how we have allowed the spirit of divorce into the church. I pray Your blood will cover Your people and wash away our sins of apathy in regards to the value You place on marriage. It was of Your making and plan. It was not good for man to be alone. Male and female You created them. They were to be together, fulfilling Your plan and purpose for them. Selfishness has crept in, Lord. Our attitudes have become self centered. We enter marriage saying, "What can my mate do for me?" rather than asking what WE can do for our mate. When our mate is not doing all that we want, we simply decide they aren't making us happy, and we find an excuse to leave the marriage. I am not saying ALL. . . . THANK YOU 
for each person that has not bowed the knee to the gods of this world of self, happiness and divorce. Thank You, Jesus, for each and every one who has focused on You and what YOU want. Let their marriages shine brighter and brighter as a light to the world of Jesus and His bride. Father, we come in solomn assembly, agreeing that we have sinned and that we need to repent and be cleansed.
We come humbly (yet boldy) into Your throne room, covered by Your blood, which clothes us with righteousness. We ask that You will REMOVE the spirit of divorce from our midst! We pray that the spirit of divorce will be dealt with swiftly and fiercely! Lord, call Your people to pray and repent. Call us to REFUSE to let this spirit in our midst anymore! We pray for You to help us take up the armor of God and be given wisdom as to how to deal with this. Let us be those that rise up and march in determination to take the enemy head on! Protect us always by Your blood and Your angels. Do not let be attacked unecessarily. We cry for wisdom! We ask, Lord, that You will surround us by Your hedge of protection of the fire and power of The Holy Spirit. Let us be covered by a prayer shawl that is NOT unraveling. I pray for a mantle to come upon us, to be those who know how to pray marriages through to restoration! Lord, we cry out, contiually, for the breakthrough of the spirit of divorce being defeated once and for all!!!
In Jesus Mighty and Powerful Name, we pray, amen and amen!!!

Yes Lord Jesus, I pray in agreement!
Your Word teaches that what therefore You have joined together, let no man separate.
Forgive us for willingly allowing divorce to slither into our tents.
Give us wisdom, patience and the will to violently fight the spirit of divorce that is so prevalent in this age.
You loathe 'putting away' so loving Lord, shine the light of Your Spirit upon married men and women and fill them with Your love.
Purify us from the sin of divorce. Amen

Father, we have covered ousselves in violence....by dealing treacherously in divorcing the mates of our youth! We cover Your alter with (phony) tears....all the while being covered by the viloence of divorce. And You are not pleased! I pray, Lord, that we will see and repent of our sins! Lead us to take seriously what You take seriously! Help us to stand by the vows we make! May we love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and love our neighbor (mate) as ourselves!
I pray Lord that we will put away the worthless idols from among us -- self, money, beauty, sex, happiness, pleasure, career -- all things that when we worship them lead us to give in to the god of this world which is the vein philosphy of men that divorce is okay. Thus we allow the spirit of divorce to creep in unawares and darken our minds.
Lord, we have listened too long to this lie! We have casually divorced, simply because we couldn't get along or "I don't love you anymore," or we are unhappy in the marriage. . . . Lord, this is SIN! The vows we make are for a life long commitment from that day on. Better not to vow, then to vow and break it!, Your Word says. We have not been trustworthy or faithful. I pray, Lord, for repentance to come to Your body, as we confess that we have broken faith with the mate of our youth and with YOU. Let us bow our knees and heads in repentance. Let us say, "Forgive us, Lord, for we have sinned!" Lead Your people to Godly sorrow that leads to repentance for how we have shown disrespect for You, Your principles and Your Word. We have forgotten Your Word so many times, not cared what Your Word said. We have selfishly gone ahead and done whatever we desired. Lead us, Lord, to say we are sorry and to do everything we can to live right from this day onwards.
I pray that we will be determined to force the spirit of divorce from among us! Give us wisdom. Equip us for the battle. Show us what to do. Show us how to fight! Train our hands for war! We pray the spirit of divorce is thrown down! You are returning for a glorious church without spot or wrinkle! It is time for THE BRIDE OF CHRIST to be THE BRIDE!!! It is time we kicked the spirit of divorce OUT and start living as those with exempliary marriages! I pray that this day is coming and coming SOON! We continue to pray for guidance and wisdom in winning this battle!
Let those divorced, who can not remarry according to Bible teaching, remain single. Let them be called to join this battle! Let them devote their future days to doing The Lord's work, not to seeking a new mate (Are you loosed? Don't seek to be bound, so says the Bible.) So, I ask, Lord, a conviciton of The Holy Spirit upon those who are rushing to remarry or see nothing wrong with remarrying. I pray they will find Biblical teaching which says either remarry your first mate or remain single, and I pray they will be obedient to Your Word. Father, I stand in the gap, and ask with all the passion I can, let Your people love You and Your Word more than life itself! Show them YOU ARE LIFE!!! Show them they can truly live successful lives with nothing but YOU in their future; they need not seek another mate for happiness. Let them realize that if they divorced for any other reason than a Biblical one, they have no business taking a new partner. I pray, Lord, that Your people can become those who obey You in all things, including this area of life!

We pray that all demons of contention, division, envy, control and more be driven from partners in marriage, that they can have no power or influence over either to divide the union you have brought together, but instead, bind them even stronger and bolder for you and witness of your strength and power and love for marriage and people to quell the attacks of Satan against your wonderful blessing of marriage. I heard the Lord by His Holy spirit give me a word of Knowledge.
This was the word he gave me "Pray against the Spirit of Antipater"
and he pronounced it like so "Anti " "Pater" Now not know what an Antipater was I needed to look it up. And surprizingly found out that King herod's last name was "Antipas" but in the "Extended volume of the Dictionary i t was listed as AntiPater meaning from the latin against the Father.
Now the bible tells us that the herod family ordered the death of the children 2years and under. King herod Also took his brothers wife .
Not much respect for the marriage vows and John the Baptist spoke out against this by saying is it lawful to take your brothers wife and as a result
lost his head. Needless to say a very unholy trinity/Antipater/the Harlot /and the Antichrist offspring who dance for King Herod
Interestingly enough a sign was put on the cross as the word said mocking him with the words "King of the Jews"
Remember God is not mocked. So what happened then?
And Jesus told them my Kingdom was not of this world.
So why did he bore this name if God is not mocked ?
Shall I say deliverance from this Unholy trinity?
Afterall who was King of the Jews at that Time Govern
or of Judea?
By Jesus boring that name we are delivered from the Unholy family.
The head of it being named rightfully so ;
Against the Father: king Herod Antipater
The Harlot(Jezebel) Herods brothers wife: Herodias
The Antichrist offspring that required the head of John the Baptist.
Do you remember the threat Jezebel said to concerning Elijah?
1 Kings 19:2 the same thing you did to my prophets I will do to you.
And Jesus said John the Baptist had the Spirit of Elijah who was spoken of in Mal 4 to turn the hearts of the children to the father.
Surprizingly their functions are opposites;
Anti pater and Elijah.
So I hope that others will pray as the lord told me to pray against the "Spirit of Antipater"
This spirit wants to destroy not only the family but kill your very children and cut the heads off of your prophets.
Quite the unholy family I must say.
Jezebel is even still mentioned in Rev to the seven churches.

Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before stumbling.
Father God in the name of Jesus I come against pride as it causes many to stumble. It is selfish and self-centered, it seeks self-gratification at the expense of others. It says what can you do for me, when Jesus said He came to serve not to be served. Pride exalts istself against the name of Jesus, and order in the families. It says I will honor my spouse only when he or she deserves it, therefore there no longer is honor in the home.
Pride covers all conviction and its twin is religion. It says anything goes in the name of religion, and it throws scripture in the spouse's face, rather than confessing one's own sins and laying your own life down for your spouse. It says I will do my own thing, my own way, for my own comfort and benefit. It says I will obey only when I see the benefit of it.
Pride allows false teaching and false doctrine to lead the way. Pride causes us to compromise and it covers the truth with "God knows my heart". Pride is a liar and the father of lies is the devil.
Lord grant married couples Your grace to do the right thing for the right reason.

I just want to thank each and every one of you for your prayers. I have been standing for my marriage now for over a year and a half and I refuse to give in to the enemy. So many (even christians ) tell me to move on and get over it. But I rebuke that spirit. Sometimes I feel so alone in all this, and it can be very hard. Then I come and read this and I know God is with me through and through.
So I just want to say thank you. I will go on some christian site for restoring marriages, but some are just so interested in selling their books, it makes me wonder do they really care what is happening here. Not just to me but the importance of marriage being a foundation to God.

I am saddened that so many marriages are floundering and so many that we pray for fall apart. I believe that the spirit of divorce begins telling people it's no big deal if there's problems, just go your own selfish way, do what you want, leave if it isn't working. I pray that this spirit is STOPPED from telling one mate or the other to leave. (Once an unbelieving partner wants to go, we must let go, as the Bible instructs, so we can move on with peace. Or if our mate commits adultery numerous times or treats us violently, we need to get away from them.) But we can continue to pray that the spirit of divorce quits convincing Christian couples that divorce is okay.
Lord, I continue to stand for the defeat of the spirit of divorce. This should not be in the church. I pray that You will convict couples to STAY TOGETHER. I pray that couples will want to make it work! I pray that You will tell them plainly that divorce is against Your best for them! Let Christians stick to their vows and be faithful to their mates as an example and witness for You. I ask and pray, in Jesus Name, amen.

Almost everyone I talked with in "the church" said something like, let it go, not every marriage is made in heaven, You shouldn't have married her in the firstplace, If...and on and on.
Not one said you both took a vow until death do you part. What about the sanctity of the blood covenant? The only way out is death! What about for better or worse?
I don't remember saying anything like, as long as I am happy, satisfied, fulfilled, or as long as you meet my wants, needs and desires!
Selfish, selfish people get divorced. Shame on you!
Nonetheless, I was divorced on Dec 20, '07. When the train wreck ran into the ditch no one wanted to help pull it back out. This is devastating for families, friends and to the church.
The Bible warns that in the latter days, the church would be lovers of themselves, (selfish) and the love (agape love only found in the church) of most would grow cold!
This prophecy is coming to pass right now before our very eyes in preparation for the second coming of Jesus Christ and the rapture. We must remember that not everyone that said a sinners prayer will be saved, no, only he that endures..........
If you're married ....stay married. If you're not married pray! If you're divorced...forgive! If you are struggling in your marriage, get it right with prayer, fasting, counselling. Repent and lay your life down right now before its too late.
We all (believer's) will stand before the judgement seat of Christ.

urge a couple to get married but once they are married do not lift a finger to help
I have experienced that first hand ;his wallet and say and yes what do you want from me.
Anyways I posted above what the lord told me about a word of knowledge shall we spit on him too. I am going to continue to up hold what he told me and Maybe Just maybe we will get somewhere as a group and if you do not believe in 1 Cor 12 about the many parts of the Body.( HIS WORD )then do not acknowledge or pray about it. God only knows what christians would find out if they opened their ears and removed their sunglasses of vanity.
Should we not raise the anointing a level and uphold what God tells us by his Spirit or let Ignorance continue to speak out of our mouth.
Jesus gave a word to pray about this DIVORCE will you read the previous post and do something as a group or be a grape and continue to wine.

Interesting how some try to always point a finger at how bad the "Church" is in these signs of Christ's yet there are only 3 direct references to the "Church" here and only at specific points-
1- Speaking to the Disciples- (Church), He states- Matt.24:4- "Take heed that no man decieve you". Then explainations after that thru v51.
2- V 13- "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved"- references those who are saved and reborn, not any who are lost and have not accepted the Gospel.
Note- Christ Himself declares- "Unless a man be born again, he shall not see the Kingdom of Heaven". Therefore, "works" of enduring to the end alone, will not save them, but the condition of thier heart towards God.
3- vs 47-51- Shows in v 48-49 in reference to an evil servant. V 49 clearly shows this servant has fallen away from God and lost to God- "smite his fellow servants and to eat and drink with the drunkards". V 51- "And shall cut him asunder, and shall appoint him his portion with the hypocrites".
Outside of these examples, Jesus is warning them of the way the "world of man", not the "Church" will be.
"Love of many shall wax cold"- There is also the reference of Gk [25]- love for others, [27]- charitable love towards others.
"We must remember that not everyone who said a sinners prayer will be saved, no, only he that endures....."
Note- "If Grace be of Grace, then works is no more works. But if works be of works, then Grace is no more Grace and Jesus Christ died on the cross in vain".
Think again. Enduring in this instance is used by Jesus refering to the Tribulation Period when the anti-christ will be chasing True Children of God all over the world, to kill them- (some in synagogues). Rev. 7:3-4,9,14, 20:4-6. These are they who haved accepted the Gospel and stayed strong in God as long as they lived, be it thru the Trib. Period or unto death during it.
"Enduring" has nothing to do with living thru to the end of the Trib. Period, but holding strong in thier faith in God for as long as they survive , be it until killed or to the end.. "endure"- Grk- "hypomeno"- to stay behind; stand firm; endure; persevere; endure[5], endured [3]. patient [1], suffer [1], etc.
As for "let it go"- If a marriage between two people was never "God ordained",- (each chosen by God for the other), then this is just another example of Satan bringing forth another- "imitation" of God to make people think it is God ordained.
In such a case, I believe it is best to "let it go", otherwise, even more destruction in the lives of that couple and family may happen.
As such, I believe it is best to- pray to God for His best for any couple or family, and if brings them to divorce, it may well be it was never God ordained to start with- Matt. 24:38. Those marriages were clearly not God ordained. If were, Jesus would not have brought this up, along with other sinful actions going on.
Not the actions themselves, but the "reasonings" in people's hearts for this. Thats what is important.
I do agree whole heartedly with the last statement tho. There is too little of God in marriages today that has brought the divorce rate higher now than the marriage rate, But only where a God ordained marriage is apparent, not where Satan has imitated God with an ungodly union that was doomed to fail from the start.

We must remember what Jesus said otherwise we too shall fall away and loose our savor like the salt he referred too.
Now Jesus referred to Judas one of his diciples as the Son of Perdition
Judas even Kissed Jesus in his betrayal. One of his own.
Was not Saul among the prophets and who did he Kill?

Revival happened in USA during the time of the murder of Captain Morgan .
Why because men of God spoke out. May be we should research these events if we really really want revival.
Bob jones in one of his meetings said he could identify every witch there but only pray that they got saved as well.
And maybe we should instead of ignoring what John claimed came out of the mouth of Jesus in rev to the 7 churches so that the church may overcome and too enter into the Kingdom.
After all Jesus even after coming out of the wilderness went about advancing thew Knigdom of God. And quite often made comparisons to the kingdom.
Do we not know we will be held accountable for every word we speak and every word of God we hear from others. And do nothing?
When my ex-wife slept with another man while married to me I forgave her and still exhibit love to her. But I do not trust her .
I had a man that went to our church for about a year. he knew I was in the habit of helping people in need even though at that time I was on welfare. He said Brother can you help me ? i need a place to stay.I felt
a check in my Spirit. and told him Boy I seem to be having a hard time trusting you. But I am a christian He replied. So I let him stay at my place
and I managed to get a Job and had to leave town. I also pray about this guy and did not feel right.
Well needless to say it was a learning process. And yes he pawned off my TV ;stereo and leather Jacket.
Eventually he came back to the church I tithe at .
Now the Pastor confronted me about this guy as I had told him what happened. He asked what he felt he should do ?
I said You are the pastor you are here to protect the sheep. So he let him back in.
this man came up to me and asked for forgiveness I forgave him but told him straight out but I do not trust you.
This man went to another church that I also attended and told the pastor
that I may have a problem with him. I said yes i do have a problem with someone who steals from me. Did they Listen No . So what happened he stole their truck and pawned their fuel tank for drugs. But he was a christian so he said. I continue to pray for him but will wait to see the evidence of answered prayer. I have taken in others and some have really panned out well.
And God has blessed my life for doing so.
My Income has increased and to this day I employ street people and have been doing this for two years in my Roofing buisness.
When I was 12 I accepted the Lord and called myself a christian.
I told my step Dad because I felt good inside. He was an alcoholic.
He told me I should have did it in the Cathlic church. Boy did that put a damper on it. I immersed myself in this church that never once in the year I attended mention the Holy Spirit. But i was a christian who tended to get in trouble with the law . And now years later I realize I had no foundation in Christ or his word. Years later I became a believer and was Baptized with the Holy Spiirt. It was like night and day in comparison.
I had a hunger and a thirst for more and more of the word.
And Jesus spoke to me In dreams and visions.
One day he let me Know my father-in-law was going to die soon. I sadly
thought how i was going to tell his son. when i did tell him . He replied in anger what do you mean. It happened soon after.
I tried to warn my accidents the same day before they happened as I spent much time praying and meditating on the word. Her ears did not work well either. Even after 4 accidents that she was warned about before hand.
The night my son got was to get into an accident I was warned and went
into prayer and really believe God warned me and also heard my prayer .
I do not doubt for a moment he heard my prayer. Now my Son is paralized from the waist down.
And my faith is that God will still honor my prayer and restore my son.
How it saddens truly saddens me when warnings fall on deaf ears.
I told a man i had seen money raining down on him he like that and a month later received $15000 unexpectantly.
Oh how we love to hear the good things only so that we don't have to get out of our comfort zones.
I can truly imagine how sad Jesus was every time he went to the Synague
as was his custom and was rejected . How he truly desired to gather them up like a mother hen gathers up her chicks.
To have them at least swallow a nat of truth.
David Wilkerson spoke on John 8 to his church how they need to swallow this message of the Jews that believed on christ until he led them further and wanted to set them free. In John 8 they picked up stones to stone him
And yet they believe on him. We also need to take that home to each on of our hearts.
Have things changed so mcuh since then not according to David Wilkerson but he took that message home to his congregation.
Herod fell dead when the crowd confronted him.
Oh what a wonderful feeling in a church when the Holy Spirit reigns.
My friend related to me how a teen in her church had given a prophetic message. wow we need to encourage this and help them. But this was not the case.
She had a dream and in the dream the teen was stripped of his very pants
(Authority) as a matter of fact the pastor had a whole van of clothing
beloenging to others with the teens pants on top.
How sad really. This pastor is no longer a pastor today.
Now what would happened if they only listened and encouraged this boy.
Even Eli told samuel to ask the Lord 'Lord is that you?
My Point is this all applies to marriage as well but lets please put Christ First.

Signs of the End of the Age

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"
Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains. "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
This is truth as spoken by our Lord, Jesus Christ as His warning about the condition of the church in the end times. Every prophet, evangelist, pastor, teacher and apostle that I have heard preach over the past few years points to this age as the end of the times. These words spoken in the New Testament and recorded for believers are to be used as a warning of what will take place. This is truth!
Notice Jesus did not say that these people would leave the church did He? No, He said they would depart from the faith. They would hate and betray each other because of the lawlessness (sin). They would also deceive each other serving religion instead of truth. Why? Because of pride and deception, religion will run over truth and deceive many.
Religion on the other hand will try to defend itself from these warnings prophesied by Jesus Himself. Choose this day who you will believe: Our Lord, Jesus Christ, or some psychological argument concocted by religion!
I guess religion will have to say that Jesus was a church-basher!
Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free!
Choose this day whom you will serve...but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord (Jesus Christ)!

Dear Lord, I pray again for the DEFEAT of the spirit of divorce! Divorce should not be in your church, regardelss of the opinions or even true Bible words spoken above. We must PRAY for this spirit to leave the church! We can discuss all day, but we must PRAY to see this change! Of course, I pray that no wrong marriages take place, but once a couple is married, they have to MAKE IT WORK and not start thinking "This wasn't of God" so I can get out. Lord, let us REJECT and RENOUNCE this spirit from among us!!!
I pray, Lord, Your people will repent! Lead us, plain and simple to REPENTANCE. We are in the Laodicean age. We think that we are doing okay, becuase we are blessed and have so much....yet when our marriages are falling apart we don't realize this is part of the poor, pitiful, blind, naked, wretchedness You speak of in Revelation 3. We aplogize! And may we REPENT -- turn form our sin of divorcing. I ask that You would lead couples to RECONCILE and do what God asks and wants, that our lives may be a witness to the world around us. Show us plainly the truths of loving our wives as Christ loved the church and living in obedience to our husbands (if they aren't asking us to sin), that we can be an example of Christ and the church. Truly, Lord, let Your church look like and represent You!!!

It is necessary for the church to come into a solomn assembly of REPENTNACE for this and other sins in the body of Christ. We are truly in the Laodiceon age! And let us not forget the church of Thyatira who tolerated Jezebel the one who caused them to be sexually immoral (divrocing and remarrying fits here) and to eat food sacrificed to idols (We have worshipped the god of this world in buying the idea divorce is okay). The church of Pergamum was also warned to not follow the teaching of Baalam or the Nicolaitans (alos caused sexualy immoraltiy and food sacrificed to idols). Let him who has ears to hear hear what The Spirit says to the church!
14"To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:
These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God's creation. 15I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. 17You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. 21I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. 22So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. 23I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds. 24Now I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan's so-called deep secrets (I will not impose any other burden on you): 25Only hold on to what you have until I come. 26To him who overcomes and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations—
27'He will rule them with an iron scepter;
he will dash them to pieces like pottery' — just as I have received authority from my Father. 28I will also give him the morning star. 29He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
12"To the angel of the church in Pergamum write:
These are the words of him who has the sharp, double-edged sword. 13I know where you live—where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did not renounce your faith in me, even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death in your city—where Satan lives. 14Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: You have people there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin by eating food sacrificed to idols and by committing sexual immorality. 15Likewise you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans. 16Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. 17He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it.

Shepherd of Israel,
I lift up all troubled marriages to You in prayer.
Recreate all that lucifer has destroyed in these unions.
Soak these marriages in Your blood and save them from the claws of the malignant foe.
