On the verge of Divorce

Please pray for my wife and I. I committed adultery 15 months ago, and we have not been able to overcome it. I have repented and have been making changes, but my wife decided this past week that she can't forgive me if she stays with me. Please pray for her heart and her mind to be fully open and trusting in the Lord. Pray that Satan would no longer have a foothold in our marriage or in her life. We have three small boys. I know it's God's heart to heal our marriage. I'm praying for a miracle. "Is the Lord's arm too short? You will now see whether or not what I say will come true for you." Numbers 11:23

I pray this couple is restored to what You want for marriage....two as one flesh, not devided by this or any other problem. Lord i stand in agreement for this marriage. Only with Your help can true healing take place. With You all things are possible. I've been there. It's important to know that time heals all wounds. If your wife loves you, she will forgive in time. Forgive yourself. Keep the right attitude, and treat her with love. The most difficult part of faith is fixing my eyes on the Lord and what is unseen. I feel like Peter as he was sinking in the water, because I can't see anything but this terrible storm. My heart is full of so much pain and disappointment. Please pray for the grace to lay it all the feet of Christ.

My wife continues to tell me that she cares for me and wants to be friends, but she won't forgive what I've done. Please continue to pray against the enemy and his schemes in our lives and in the lives of our 3 young boys. Pray for us both to be walking in humility and the light of Christ. And pray with all your heart for our restoration. May God win the victory.

Dear Lord,help this couple to overcome the problem that they have. You are a Good God,and their isn't anything too impossible for you. They need a Mighty Miracle from you,and Only you Lord can fix it. Lord if it is your will let them be a loving couple again,because we know that you are able,and we know all things work together for good,for them that love the Lord,to them that are called to your purpose. Hey, everybody. I would appreciate your prayers today. The last few days have been really tough as I've been struggling with fears over losing my marriage and my kids. My wife and I are supposed to go to counseling today, but she is sick (she was sick last week as well). At the appointment, I have a letter that I am going to read her, asking for her forgiveness. Please pray for that time. We were also supposed to meet tonight to discuss division of finances and parenting as well. There are lots of things going on, and it feels like the battle has intensified. Since the beginning, Satan has been seeking to destroy our family. While there have been victories, I feel like the fight is just beginning. Christ gave us authority to overcome all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). May Satan fall like lightning as he loses this battle.

Father God, I stand in the very gap of these prayer petitions for this family to stay strong and to fight off the darts of the devil. My wife told me this morning that she is feeling confused and is having second thoughts about going through with the divorce. Please pray that she would set her heart and thoughts before the Lord and that he would direct her paths. Pray that I wouldn't say or do anything stupid, but that I would give her the space and understanding that she needs from me. Thank you for your prayers. God is up to something!

We meet with the mediator again today and are going to divorce court on Monday. My wife has had a difficult week on top of many difficult weeks. Please pray for her to have a closeness with the Lord right now as she has been struggling to get perspective. She is having a tough time. And please don't stop praying for our marriage to be restored. I stand in faith that God desires to heal our marriage. May he remove everything that stands in the way of what he is going to do. My wife is still determined to still go through with the divorce. The kids are really struggling and need prayer. And my job situation continues to be up in the air.

I can either focus on the unknowns and uncertainties or on what I know and am certain of. God is working all these things for his glory and our good. Period. I know that nothing is going to frustrate His purposes. I trust in that for my whole family. Thank you for your support and your prayers. I have felt them and am stronger today than I have ever been. I still believe that it is God's heart to heal our marriage. He will move her heart in his time.

Dear Lord, I lift this couple up to you. Bring his wife to a place where she can understand your call for marriages not to be broken. Time is running out. My wife is planning on leaving the state in less than three weeks to go back to where her parents are. She will be taking the kids. Things are getting harder as more and more is out of my control. It has been a daily wrestling to trust in God and what he is up to.

I am asking for prayer for four specific things...
-That my wife would know/understand the truth about me and what I did. That the lies of the enemy would be silenced in her mind and that she would see me taking responsibility for how I've hurt her.
-For our three sons, that they would be sustained by the Lord and comforted by his goodness through this painful time.
-For the conversations between my wife and I, that they would be healing and reconciling instead of polarizing and damaging.
-For God to move in our hearts and restore our marriage.

O dear God, please most graciously honor this dear man for his faith! No weapons formed against this marriage shall prosper! The battle is Yours! For the sake of Your kingdom and the three children, You must do whatever it takes, using all means necessary to most absolutely forbid this divorce from going through! YOU ARE ONE!!! And the LORD has made this a REALITY.

It is truth, and fact.

Pray to GOD that when you see her or reach her, that
HE would manifest in you in such a way that she would become

When the wine, ran out...you stepped in and did that great miracle of turning the water into wine. Yes Lord, you are able to come to our help and rescue at every point of our need. Lord Jesus I know that many prayers are going up for this marriage. Jesus I thank you that you hear are voices. That you hear the cries of your children. Merciful God I ask for healing in this marriage. I ask Christ Jesus that you would heal it in such a way that it's like bone that has been broken -- once it heals it's even stronger than it was before. Merciful God only You can do such a thing. Your prayers and encouragement have meant so much. God is working in our lives and will reveal himself in this.

Please pray for my wife today. She is under attack and doesn't have the strength to deal with it. There is a person coming against her and causing her harm. She is so spent already. She needs your prayers.

Also, please pray for a job breakthrough this week. I am in need of something that pays the bills. My current employment isn't consistent, and the financial needs are piling up. Something needs to come through soon.

My wife, Kristin, leaves today for a week in Indiana (with family). The move date is 11 days after she comes back. I want to pray that God would use this trip to change her heart. I want to pray that God would stop the divorce and restore our marriage. I want to pray that she would see the truth of me and what God is doing in this. I want to pray that she would stop believing the lie that there is no hope.

But all those requests are about what I want. Oswald Chambers exhorts, in My Utmost for His Highest today, to “be serious about your commitment to God and gladly leave everything else alone” and how Christ never spoke of his own rights but continually submitted himself to the Father. I feel as if I try to “instruct” God in my prayers about what I think would be best for us. I know it’s important to cry out to Him and present your requests to Him, but the most important thing is for me to submit my desires and will to the Him. I say I am letting go, but I know I am holding on to her and our kids with all my heart. Please pray for me in this. The pain in losing Kristin is overwhelming, but the holding on just makes things worse. And, in such a time as this, I need for my heart to be fully submitted to the Lord’s will. I need to be serious in my commitment to the Lord and leave everything – especially what happens with Kristin and our sons– alone. Thanks for your support and prayers.

Dearest brother in Christ, give it up to God and let it be. IF GOD and only GOD sees this marriage continue, so be. Lift it up to God and let it be. Allow GOD to handle your broken heart, your relationship with your wife, and your children. Trust in God and HE will not fail you. Though it tarry it always come right on time, HIS time for things to be in our lives not our time. I know it pains you to even think of not having your wife in your life. But dear brother, we have to allow God fully into our situations for HE can move it in the direction that HE wants it to be. Pray on it. Pray for your children, pray for the healing of your mind, heart, and soul, pray for your wife that she shall be saved. I wanted to say thank you for your prayers and support over these last couple of months. I am so grateful. As hard as this has been, God has been good to me. And in the midst of all this, He is reigning and ruling.

I appreciate your continued prayer for job breakthroughs and for peace with my wife, Kristin. Over the next couple of days, we will be finalizing our divorce agreements. Pray for our three young sons. This has been a difficult journey for them, but they're hanging in there. Pray also on whether or not I should work it out to buy our house. Father, God of mercies, is there anything too hard for you? We decree miracles in Don's life today. We continue to ask you to restore his marriage. Lord, you come through for us when all other doors close. For when we are weak, then we are strong.You are never late and always do everything well for us at the right time. We ask for a financial breakthrough for Don. We ask that some supernatural provision to come his way even in this month of March. Lord, we still count on you for this marriage. I need wisdom from the Lord. We are getting ready to finish and sign some agreements, but they don't feel right to me. I'm under pressure from my wife to sign, but the agreeement minimizes my relationship with the kids. Thanks for your prayers. And I am still praying for the miracle of restoring our marriage.

My wife has said she feels distant from the Lord and alone. Please pray for her, and please pray for God to restore our marriage. We haven't signed the final divorce papers yet, but she is moving with the kids Saturday. For God to change things at the last minute, we need a miraculous intervention. The kids are really struggling and need prayer. Show your power, Lord. I believe.

O dear Lord, please do intervene before it's too late! I thank you Lord that the divorce papers are not signed yet. Please forbid this wife from moving with the children! Please keep working on this marriage, finishing what You started. Reconcile this marriage once and for all! I plead of You desperately in Jesus mighty name I pray, Amen.
