Dream...

dreamed I was sitting in a car, man approached me. He sat down in passengers seat. He seemed sullen, he began to tell me he was not happy with his marriage. HE said that his wifes grandfather had placed him in a marriage for the wrong reasons. His feelings were else where.


At that time, his wife walked out... it seemed as if she had a non challant attitude. didn't care.

A car is a vessle that takes us from one destination to another.

Are you in a relationship, (and this can mean with a boyfriend/husband or it can mean with an old mutual friend)? One of the people involved in the relationship isn't happy no more, and don't want to be in that relationship but due to 'pressure' from 'elders' the relationship was created. (maybe due to a child?) And the wife of the dream don't care if he stays or goes on to another relationship. She got what she wanted from him (??) The husband gives off a regretful tone. As if he shouldn't allowed pressure from others to push him in this situation that he is not happy in.

Are you not happy in your life or what you are doing with your life. Whether personal or professional? Where you pushed into something that maybe now emotions are coming to life and you are having regrets about something you did in your life that is more or less 'haunting' you now?

I am not in a relationship currently, I haven't been in one for quite a while. However I Had a dream (about a month ago) pertaining to marriage. Here goes....

I dreamed I was sitting in the back of a church that I had attended as a child... I sat on the back pew, facing the double doors. I appeared tired.

I was approached by an elderly woman; she wore a bright yellow dress, had dark curls in her hair, beautiful dark skin, a hat, and glasses.
She walked up to me with a smile, reached out her hands and held my upper arms. She began to speak in a serious tone, it was as if she were prophesying. She looked at me sternly, and said, God has a husband for me... she said he was from a certain state, or lived in a certain state ( I know the name of the state, but choose not to mention it) I remember when she mentioned the state, I was like, oh no, it can't be. I knew of someone from this state, and I was dissapointed, but, she went on to tell me, he was caucasion and latin (I knew then, it was not the same person).

After she had spoken to me, she held me in her arms and hugged me. as she held me, I felt extremely comforted, and I noticed a sweet aroma coming from her. I noticed thru out the whole dream, this woman exuberated peace, and comfort... finally she let me go and walked out of the doors to the church. I went outside of the church to look for her, as I walked around the church, I saw a glimpse of her yellow dress going into the ministers quarters. I did not see her again.

This dream was so comforting and so sweet, It was as if God was comforting me in my sleep.

Dear sister in Christ, as I was reading your post, these symbols came to mind. I hope that they can help you or have a meaning to you.

Sometimes we place things in the back of our minds to forget the pains or the hurts to move on with our lives or to do something. "Putting it on the back of the burner to another time". Being present at a church that you attended as a child -- denotes to me -- go back to your roots. How did you enjoy the services at that particular church when you was a child? What was taught to you there? (Going back to the first teachings of Christ - Sunday School ect.) The double doors give me the impression of 2 of something. Or double the portion. The tired part tells me that you are going through something that might be weary on your soul.

The elderly woman - denotes, wisdom.

she wore a bright yellow dress- This represents the light of day. God's goodness.

hat, and glasses - A hat is a protection/shield. Glasses -- vision.

Now the first thing that came to mind when I read the post in regards to the elderly lady speaking about a future husband for you, that resides in a particular state, fear over came you because of you thinking it was someone that wasn't trustworthy of you nor of your love. But once she described that the person was of another race, your fear of the one you thought it was subsided. The smell, was the sweetness of life that is 'approaching you' (?) Its going to come to you in a way that you won't expect, but at the same time, protect yourself. Go back to your roots of maybe how you used to pray and read the bible as a child. Any time i dreamt of the church I was attending as a child, it told me to go back to how I was doing things for Christ at that age, the age of innocence.

Hope this helped some. As I was reading your post -- I had to start writing down things that came to mind at that very moment for you. Be bless dear one.
