Praying for a break through in my career

I know I know I should trust God that His will is the best for me. But I am growing in despair, that it seems that Jesus is not listening to me. I really need a job, fast. I am a foreign national, and if I don't get an offer in 2 weeks, theregoes my opportunity for applying for a work visa. Not that I have been sitting and not doing anything on my own... at first I was still getting some response, but now it seems that the whole world is not listening has shut down on me.

Jesus has been a very strong source of hope to me. Similar things happened to me last year, when I was desperate for an internship, Jesus helped me land one the very last minute. For that I am very thankful. My job search experience was tough last semester, even though I pray and pray and pray everyday, nothing seemed to work out. I thought I was out of opportunities, then all of a sudden some opportunities sprout up again. For that I am very thankful to God for making me hopeful. But I feel I that I am walking back to the despair hole, where I see no way to solve the problem.

Please pray for me, for a miracle that has to happen in 2 weeks, or for restoring my faith and hope.

PRAISE THE LORD! I finally get a phone interview of my ideal job! Thank you to those who prayed for me and thank you God!

Please pray that God will give me confidence and wisdom on the phone interview.

Father, I do pray for favor in the area of employment. Work as according to Your will. Give this one peace and patience despite the answers. You are always in control and able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we could dare ask or think. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen

Praise the Lord... I got a final round interview with my dream job. I just talked to my mum and asked her to thank God for me. (Of course, I will do it myself too) Thank you God for His guidance and thanks to those who prayed for me

Hi Karen, I am in a very similar situation as you are in- you would see that today I had even posted a prayer request concerning working in a different country other than the one I am in right now. Not to put you off in any way at all, I have spent 6 years in this country and it doesn't seem that I have progressed in my career. The very first sentence you mentioned says it all.....HIS WILL IS THE BEST. I wished that I held on to that as I would have saved myself all the pain and sorrow that I experienced when taking off and wanting to do my own way. Anyhow,HOLD ON!! IT IS WELL! ....

Lord, have mercy on our sister. Hear her cry for help. Please open doors that no man can shut in Jesus' name. Cause favor to abound on her behalf and that You take all the glory in Jesus' mighty name. Amen!

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am even more convinced I should follow God's path. I am done with my final round of interview, and realize that the competition was fierce! Now the only thing I can rely on is our Almight Father...

I am still waiting for their reply after the final round of interview. Hope they can really see I am a good fit for the position. At the mean time, I pray for calmness and patience. God please carry me, and give me a hand to where I should be in my career and my life.
