I am not afraid to DIE!

Lately I have felt as if I have been beaten with a whip. My body aches, my mind is consumed, I am worn out! Life seems too hard for me to deal with, I am tired of trying.
I have have seen friends pass away, heard of good people stricken with illness, and I sit here healthy as can be and not wanting to be here.
As the tears fall from my eyes as I write this, I have to ask is it OK to ask God to take you from this earth? I want peace and my only peace resides in Heaven. I am not afraid to die!

Heaven ceritainly seems like a better place...but if you have Jesus you have HEAVEN ON EARTH. We really don't have to wait for Heaven to experience what is so important to us, which is JESUS. You say heaven is where your only peace is. WRONG! The fruit of the Spirit is PEACE, and The Spirit was sent to this earth after Jesus ascended to Heaven. So peace on earth is totally available to us. Are you allowing the Spirit to fill you, asking Him to fill you? I constantly pray, "Fill me with Your Spirit, and His love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, temperance, meekness." You should not be asking to die, but asking that your life can be witness for the Lord. Pull yourself aside for quiet time with The Lord, asking His Spirit to fill you....do this A LOT. I have had to do this a lot to arrive at this place of peace I have come to....and, still, I have to keep on doing it faithfully, in order to maintain it.
Yet, this morning, I had a sore throat and couldn't find my Vitamin C drops...and was really frustrated because I had to drive and I didn't want to do it...and I told the Lord that. Heaven was the place I wished to be, too, not down here dealing with all this.
Why is it so hard? Why do we have to keep asking over and over to be filled with Him and His peace and the other fruits of the Spirit? Because He wants a relationship. The stresses, friction, adversity and such of the world, cause us to run to Him....so we can keep on pressing into relationship with Him. It is HIM, not Heaven, that is your hope for peace. You have HIM here on earth. He wants you to come to Him. HE is the answer! Come into His Presence and ask Him to give you peace. He will. You may have to come over and over, again and again. I have had to. But the more you have to come, the stronger your relationship with Jesus gets. And A RELATIONSHIP is what He wants with you!!!
Don't be seeking the peace; be seeking HIM!!!
None of us can say when our life should end. That is up to God. He has us here for a purpose and a reason. When you see good people struck down by illness and, possibly, death, you need to think about how you can make your life count for Him. Not about how you can cash it in. Larry Norman died recently, and it makes me very sad. But it also makes me examine my life and ask what I can do, as he did so much to reach others with the good news of Jesus Christ. I want to take my moments and live them as close to God as I can, for out of that, will flow the desire to share Jesus with others. And that's what we are here for.
I pray that you will get a DIFFERENT perspective. That is sometimes all it takes. When I get into the quiet place with Jesus, when I start focusing on Him, my perspective changes. When I am seeing Him, not the problem, I am falling in love with Him all over again. And, then, I know that NOTHING matters but Him. All the stuff I'm worried about is trivial and useless to consume my thoughts. HE must consume my thoughts! When I get Christ focused....the things of earth grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace!!!
Praying for you to find Jesus as Your all and everything.

Yes, good people suffer, friends and family will suffer or die from diseases. But... God declares that it will rain equally upon the just as well as the unjust.
This is because the world has been cursed for man's sake. God declared all manner of tainting will fill the earth. Thus, all living creatures will be effected by this tainting in one way or the other.
I can feel the compassion you have for others. Thats wonderful. But, rather than let what Satan may accomplish for a time here on earth, remember, Jesus shall return one day soon and remove all that, forever.
We need to hold to faith in knowing God knows best for the timing and purpose of all things, and that includes the end of all pain and suffering.
Lord-
We pray for a strengthening of Sheree's heart and spirit, to uplift her to stand against this oppression and be revived and overjoyed in knowing you Lord Jesus have overcome death by sin, that one day we will live with you in perfect peace, love and harmony forever. In Jesus Name- Amen!!
