friend's granddaughter died

My dear friend of mine lost her ten month old granddaughter last night. Please pray for the Lord to comfort her and her family during this difficult time.

Father God,
I lift up this hurting family to You, Lord. Lord, we do not know why these tragedies happen, but You do. Lord, please help this family to be comforted and to heal. Please draw them closer to You and please wrap Your loving arms around them. Lord, if there is one among them who does not yet know You as Lord and saviour, I just ask that this trial be used to draw them to You Lord. Thank You. Amen.

Father, comfort this family. Wrap them up in Your arms. Lord, give them peace and quiet the questions. We often don't understand the reason for a tradegy or why someone passed so young, but I know that You know all and may this family trust, as I do, in Your answers. Lord, use this tradegy to open the eyes of those who don't know You to finally come and accept You as Lord and Savior. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen
